Hi to ALL my friends here in The Cantina. This thread can have a lot of meaning to everyone here in the forum.I will try to explain the best i can.I had watch TFA a LOT of times. In the movie there are a lot of hidden message in the scenes that the director or writer had built inside the movie. Is the way you can understand a part in any movie.TFA has a few of them. Here in this thread you can upload any part of the movie that has a message for you.By this why we can discuss and see how many message are inside this movie.I will start...:).The picture below is the Star Killer Base Explosion.
Did you notice that the planet became a NEW SUN with the explosion? For me this is a hidden message.Star Killer Base was FULL of darkness with bad people on it.We all know that SW is a fight between GOOD and EVIL,Light Side and Dark Side,Jedi and Siths. For me i think that the message is:Behind the DARK there is LIGHT.I always think that a bad person at the end of the road will have the chance to return to the LIGHT.I believe that LOVE is ONE of the most beautiful and powerful feeling that any person can have to destroy bad things in real life.SW is a beautiful story. We love it because it has that special magic. You know what i mean.If you have any moment or scene in TFA that has a special meaning for you just share it with us.Thanks for reading and.... Let the FORCE and the LIGHT be with you ALWAYS...:).

All the movie is full of light and dark symbols.

When Ben kills Han, the sun has come into darkness and when Rey won, Starkiller becomes light.

The opening scenes with Kylo and Rey are symetric too.

    In this scene..
upload_2016-5-18_10-7-13.png ..When the light is almost extinguished, we see small ships making their way away from the Destroyer. When the light (hope) seems almost overtaken, the smallest thing makes a difference. Also, the tip resembles Kylo Ren's saber.

There was that Journal of the Whills thing with the first movie, it wasn't in the movie, but maybe the book or something and referred to Luke perhaps. "The Son of the Suns" meaning the suns of his planet, I am guessing. Home and Family was mentioned many times by many characters through the film. I am sure this will be an ongoing theme. That one just hits you over the head ( Rey waiting for her family, Finn telling how he was taken from his family, Kylo Ren "you can't deny the truth that is your family" "Chewie we're home" Maz telling Han to "Go Home" etc etc) The planet of Starkiller Base and Kylo Ren's lightsaber are said to be reflections of him in some way. Other objects were that way to other characters in the previous films (Like Han and the Falcon). And the thing that drives me nuts, Leia's ring. It means something we won't know yet as they won't tell anything about it when asked.

also: "the belonging you seek..." "if you see our son, bring him home." "come home, we miss you." ~ yeah BIG theme.

if you want to extend the metaphor, you have two factions who are essentially homeless: the Resistance, who is only secretly supported by the Republic (a home that gets obliterated), and the FO, which is built from the dispossessed Empire (who has lost their home and is trying to take it back/create a new one). You have Kylo Ren, making a home with Snoke, Luke leaving home, Leia trying to bring him home too, Finn stolen from his home and then abandoning the only home he's ever known. even BB-8 is essentially just trying to get home.

    home home home.

it'll be interesting to see if Johnson continues this theme, relegates it to a leitmotif, and/or chooses a new one to focus on.

How about the opening line, "This will begin to make things right"? Even that, some say, is a reference to the prequels and bringing it back to the original saga.

Oh that reminds me: LST's death reminded me of Obi-Wan Kenobi's death but without the duel and the calmness.

When I saw the SKB return to sun form after it was destroyed, I gave a cheer. Yay for the First Law of Thermodynamics! Energy can neither be created or destroyed - it can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. If SKB had just blown up and faded, I would have been pissed! But, the energy returned (changed) back to its original form once the oscillator was destroyed. I interpreted this as the restoration of balance - a central theme in the Star Wars galaxy. I don't disagree with the light/dark allegory. However, it was only through the destruction of SKB that the light was allowed to return. Perhaps only through the destruction of Kylo Ren will the light be allowed to exist where once there had only been darkness.

I may be on crack here, but I thought the ring was like a symbol of her relationship with her twin brother, Luke. Then wasn't Rey wearing it when she went to Ach-To? I wondered if Leia gave it to Rey as a sign to Luke that they will always have their twinship bond, regardless of circumstances or bad bood. The design on the ring looks like a play on the infinity symbol to me. Apart from her obvious Restiance Generaling duties, I wondered if part of the reason Leia didn't go to Luke herself was that there might be some bad or difficult feeling between them, after that business with Luke training Ben and then Ben going full dark and the rest. Maybe there is enough space now to face those demons, and this is a part of Leia reminding herself and her brother it's time to start the healing process.

Looking at the metaphor behind the visual imagry is quite intriguing to me, but there is one bit that drives me nuts That's the bit where in Rey's forceback vision, when the ship flys off and it disappears into a perfect red rectangle.
