    Maybe it's not so hilarious, but to not understand that Star Wars was always pretty pro-diversity and pro-women is sadly hilarious. Not to mention George's leanings on the Vietnam War and desire for female leads in the new films/content.

    Seriously, some people. One of the main lessons we have gotten from Star Wars is that the Rebels embrace diversity whereas the Empire is all about human supremacy over the galaxy.

    People, there is unfortunately going to be racists, misogynists, homophobes and bigots of all kinds always. The only thing we can do is make sure there is less and less of them with each passing year. Call them out, online and in the real life. The world is changing, maybe not as fast as we would like, but it's changing. You are either going to change with it or be left behind as a stain on the human kind.
