    Ok. Luke fights Vader on Bespin. Hand cut off. I am your father. Blah blah blah. We know this story. Me, thinking randomly, decided to focus on the lightsaber. It falls down from where Vader and Luke were fighting. Luke, when he fell down this pit, ended up hanging from some kind of structure attached to the underside of a building of cloud city. When the lightsaber fell, did it fall down and down. Isn’t Bespin a gas giant too. Where could have the lightsaber ended up. Well here is where it ended up. Within Maz Kanata’s hands. How’d she get it?

    As far as I'm aware, she just bought it from some people who found it. I mean, I can give it more detail than that, but its just not worth it.

    For me, the problem is that Maz said it was a story for another time. That implied that there was a significant story behind it and that it would be told someday.
