So I finally got down to reading the Han Solo comic last night ( I know, I know, I'm behind but I've had it since they came out)

After the first stage of the race when Han and the other racers get caught by the Empire, how did no one recognize him? You would think that his face and his ship would be one the Empire's Most Wanted List after destroying the Death Star.

I mean its not happen stance that a ship like the Millennium Falcon gets caught in a tractor beam of a Star Destroyer and then is seen at the scene of the battle that destroys the Death Star. The same ship that fled from Storm Troopers on Tatoonie. I get there are a lot of ships of that class and style but there had to be features that made it stand out amungst the other ships like it. There had to be video footage or a photo of this ship and it's crew to be circulated around the Empire.

I wouldn't say your behind, as a long time comic book enthusiasts there are some avid comic collectors or readers that wait for the collected editions (trade paper backs) so they can enjoy the entire story without awaiting one month to month. Anyway, Star Wars is a huge universe, there are other scoundrels that they're after as well, not just Solo IMHOP.

The comic is set after ANH and before ESB so Falcon still didn't destroy Death Star (2) but a Force-sensitive X-wing pilot (and at about the same time, Vader is hunting him). And as @Rogues1138 said, this is a big, big galaxy and more importantly big Empire - not everyone will know everything. Plus, there must be thousands YT-1300f light freighters flying around it.

Thanks for that clarification....make sense on the timetable with the way Leia and Han's relationship was in the comic.

Your right the type ship is 1 in a thousand and most of the modifications were probably non visual anyway.

    Thanks @LadyMusashi
