Hey guys, so I know this may sound like a dumb question but how do you go about cleaning your windshield/mirrors when they get dirty? I know people will say to use the hose but I just use a bottle of windex & a rag. The only problem is, most of the time I leave so many streaks on my windshield that when I'm driving and the sun comes down on me, it gets really hard to see clearly. I've tried using the windex & rag again but seem to always leave streaks.

Anyone got some friendly tips & tricks on how to not leave so many streaks on your windshield/mirrors?

One trick I use sometimes if I'm in a hurry and I need a clean windshield is to turn on the wipers at full speed while I spray it down with the hose. If the wiper blades are still relatively new, they will do a fair to decent job.

Edit: Also, it's a good idea to get some microfiber cloth rags.

@Kylo Solo You can get one of those squeegees that they have at the gas stations. You can find them in WalMart, etc. Quick and clean, no streaks.

I've seen that people have recommended those online. I will see if I have any first. Its been a real pain recently because I can get the outside windshield clean but the inside is where I have an issue. Although I do also have a problem with keeping my side rear view mirrors streak clean. Anyone know how to clean those little guys properly?

@Kylo Solo If you turn your light saber down to "low" you can use it to clean windows, roast hot dogs, etc

And use newspaper to wipe the windex off.

As you're using the newspaper it will become less effective so then use some more unused newspaper.

    Why newspaper - no streaking.
