Well the truth is I don't want Rebels to end. But seeing that the end is inevitable, I think it would be really cool to see the Battle of Scarif from the perspective of the Ghost Crew. Rebels seems to be running right into the Rogue One timeline so it would not be a complete surprise to see this happen. The Battle of Scarif would also be the perfect setting to end Rebels if many of our leading players do end up dying.

do you think any EU characters could make an appearance in the final episodes of Rebels? I think it'd be awesome to see any of the Rebels characters interact with Legends characters before the series is over!

Zeb will almost certainly return to his homeworld of Lira San. Since that is in either Wild Space or the Unknown Regions, this would also dovetail with the Emperor sending Thrawn to those areas during the OT timeframe.

There is zero chance in my mind that Ezra will die. Will not happen. Kanan maybe/probably, but not Ezra. He will either go to Lira San with Zeb, or something involving Ahsoka/Mortis. If he loses his homeward Lothal, loses his mentor Kanan, and has some sort of troubling experience with Sidious, those could easily add up to leaving the immediate area of the universe for a variety of reasons.

I am intrigued by the Mortis possibility with Ezra - I had not considered that. Partially because I've not been a huge fan of the Mortis stuff...so not sure how I will take it if they go that route.

Can there really only be three more nights of Rebels? Nooooo!

I think I pretty much agree with all of this. Ezra having to leave or maybe go in hiding is where I think he will end up. Can’t see them killing him off & then if they leave it open they can bring him back for comics/books/stand alone film.

That’s pretty much where my head's been at since season two. If for no reason other than it being supremely unlikely this show targeted at young teens is going to KILL its main teen protagonist. My assumption was Lira San. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they made navigating to that world being contingent on ‘Ashla’ (lightside Force). Could Zeb do it by himself? What better place to hide from the Empire and darkside.
Or for the next animated series would be my guess.

Check out this interview from Clayton Sandell in April of last year where talks with Dave Filoni not wanting to go into the Battle of Scarif. I feel like this will hold true in the second half as well.

If they are 100% canon, the Forces For Destiny animated series clearly shows Captain Hera Syndulla, Chopper and the Ghost ship present on the Forest Moon of Endor during the events of ROTJ.

It's canon. Also the Wookiepedia page has her listed present on Endor.
