How many times will you go see TLJ in theaters

Maybe twice, but probably once.

 

Possibly three times

 

The better it is, the more times I'll see it. I'd be shocked if I don't go at least twice. If it's amazing then I might go three times.

 

I’ll likely see it 2-3 times. A lot of it depends on how many times my kids want to go see it.

 

It depends on how much I like it. I loved TFA! I saw it 8 times in the theater. I would have seen it more, but they stopped showing it (I was kind of pissed, as I wanted to see it at least 10 times in the theater)! I did not really like Rogue One, so I only saw it twice in the theater.

 

AoTC 2 times, RoTS 4 times, TFA 7 times and R1 8 times.

 

For me not 17 this time, may 4 in 3d & 4 regular.

 

I saw TFA 4 times and there is no reason why I won’t be seeing TLJ the same amount too. I always see it with my brother and 2 best friends that Friday night. Then over the next few weeks I will see it again with family and friends.

 

Minimum two times. Premiere in my native language, english version the next day. If it's good... God save my wallet.
It also depends on how many 2D screenings will be available in normal times, as I hate 3D and the bastards at my cinema are always disadvantageous with the 2D screenings (for obvious reasons).

 

I will see TLJ in theaters at least twice, once with my immediate family on release date and once with extended family on Christmas day. If the movie ends up being something truly special then I could very well see it multiple times. Its looking pretty solid so the chances are pretty good it will be more than 2.

 

I wish i don't know was an option. I plan to c it in every format. However if i get Rey Random & loser Luke only redeemed by Rey i may just c it twice.

 

I usually go at least 2. Opening day and usually a matinee on Christmas Eve.

For someone on this forum to only see TLJ twice at the cinema seems ludicrous to me.

I'm aiming for 4-5.

 

I was burned badly buying multiple tickets in advance for TFA. I will not make that mistake again.

So with that said, I will watch TLJ for the first time a few days after the release date... IF it is good I will probably see it again in the cinema, maybe even a couple of times. But if I walk out of my initial viewing with the same feeling as I did for TFA, I will only see it the once, wait for the home release to view it again, and bide my time until SOLO.

 

I was gonna just tick 'more than 3' and not comment.. because I saw TFA at the cinema.. a lot.

although I wouldn't walk it (lazy - no other reason).. i'm walking distance to a big multi screen. my company shuts down for Christmas 2 days after TLJ releases.
the math is simple:-
SW fanatic + 2 weeks off work + nearby cinema = large and embarrassing number.
adjust the figures slightly by factoring in that this SW fanatic has previously admitted that he has visited the cinema late at night simply because he fancied a hot dog.

i'm not sure that trumps a latte and a hotdog.. but i'm with ya


lots of folk saying it will depend on how good it is.... meh... it's a cinematic release of a brand new Star Wars film.
I will see it loads and I will love it.

for me it's less about how good it is and more about how much time and energy i have.
i was able to see TFA an obscene amount of times because i wasn't working when it came out.
the discount tuesday 1st matinee was my weekly habit.

 

i'll go along with that,. as long as there are no ghostly wandering hands... towards my food !

you weren't working? The ginger general won't be happy about that... 2 years ago you should have been looking for the BB unit, fighting the resistance or doing sanitation duty on Starkiller.

 

my TFA setting was


1st Run IMax 4D for a full dose if adrenaline
2rd Run weekend after ,to see more normal perspective
3rd Run 2D in local cinema for actually analysing film

Than waiting DVD.
