How many times will you see Solo in the theaters?

Twice if it's good.

 

Once if I hate it - because no matter how bad the reviews are, I will still want to see it for myself.

Twice, if I'm unsure after the first viewing, but it turns out that I'm not all that fond of it.

Three times if I like it, because that's what I do with Star Wars movies. There is no theatrical experience (for me at least) that compares to seeing a good Star Wars movie on the big screen. One of those three viewing will be at an IMAX theater.

Four or five times if I love it. In the three to four months that it takes Solo to finish its theatrical run, and before it is released on Blu-Ray, I will be lured back to the theater one or two more times.

So here's hoping I see it five times.

 

Once, even if I love it. I don’t enjoy the experience of going to the theater anymore. I would much rather wait for the blu Ray and watch it on my 4K tv but I will see every SW movie in the theater because of my love for the series.

Once as THE minimum in cinema and then if it's enjoyable enough to me maybe twice but after that satisfied.

 

if anybody had asked me how many times i was going to see TFA, i might have said "zero, unless the reviews are really really good".
i was convinced to get an opening day ticket at the last minute. i went on to watch it 14 times.

i will go see this movie without that kind of hesitation, but we'll have to wait to see what happens afterwards. : D

 

Unfortunately probably only once. For two reasons, Time and Money.

 

I will watch twice especially if I do not like it to get a better look.

 

Of course it depends on how the movie turns out but I’m tentatively going to say that I will see it twice. Maybe more depending on how good it is and how much time I have.

 

The first SW movie I won't see in cinema, I will watch it on paytv when available.

 

I don't know. I saw R1 3 times within 24 hours when it came out (which was a little over the top I admit) but I've only seen TLJ twice and it will take a while until I feel the need to watch it again. So it strongly depends on how much I like the movie. Usually it watch SW movies 2 times within 24 hours: Midnight screening followed by another screening the next evening. Depending on the quality of the movie I watch 2 or 3 more times until it's home release.

Star Wars movies aren't the only movies I watch more than once in cinema. Whenever I have the feeling that the movie won't deliver the same experience at home I buy a ticket for a second viewing. Movies like this included Mad Max: Fury Road, Avatar, Interstellar,...
In the poll I selected 2, even though I will most likely see the movie more than that. But after TLJ I am somewhat cautious.

Two to alot. Give or take.

 

My plans are to see it and then determine afterwards if it is worth seeing again. I am growing increasingly optimistic so right now I predict I will see it at least twice, but that could certainly change if it is not good.

 

I'll definitely go see it 3 or more times. I usually can't have an absolute firm opinion on a movie with just a single viewing so Solo will need a couple of watches. The trailers do look promising though.

 

If the film is good 3 times. If I don't like it my first viewing, I will wait and watch it again just to be sure that I don't like it. I pretty much like all of the Star Wars films. So Lucasfilm would have to really screw it up for me to make it bad. I like the trailers so far.

 

I've seen almost all star wars films twice in the theater ...

 

cool! i think AotC and RotS are the only two i didn't see at least twice.
