SPECULATION How much do you want revealed in the trailer? How much is too much?

Whatever it reveals, it'll only raise a million other questions. It's a JJ trailer, after all.

 

I won't be able to resist, I can tell you now. I am watching this trailer no matter what

I wouldn't recommend the trailer to anyone avoiding spoilers if, say, they reveal something like:

Spoiler: WARNING THIS SPOILER WILL RUIN THE ENTIRE MOVIE FOR YOU DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE

Snoke kills Dumbledore

 

I don't like posting TREK stuff but it gives you an idea of what we may be in for as far as J.J. stuff goes.. At least it gives a narrative.

 

I've been waiting for a long time for new official information. So I will be watching (and probably screaming with joy) even if it gives away the full plot to the entire trilogy. But I hope it's reserved and keeps the surprises to a few solid hooks.

 

That's gonna be great.

 

I want the trailer to be Mark Hamill and/or Daisy Ridley reading us the entire TFA script. That wouldn't ruin the movie for me and I'd still go see it as many times as I can.

 

I want just enough to get the tip wet but that's it. After the trailer I want to think, "This is interesting. I really want to get more into this story," But I still what that sense of mystery that keeps me wondering of how good its going to feel to have the full force of this movie bathed all over me...

But what I'm expecting is to get a trailer full of amazing visuals and dialogue but very little plot details. They just need to give enough plot that briefly describes what's going on, like search for Luke or we need to get this lightsaber. That would be just enough to satisfy me.

 

Mark Hammill using the JOKER voice would garner a lot of happiness......

Can you imagine?

It's J.J, I doubt that it even gives away much more than the first half of the film...lol

 

I'm not too spoiler-shy so I gonna watch it anyway, but I don't anticipate it spoiling too much anyway.

I mean, Hasbro made that statement about how all the toys are from Act I basically so far. I doubt we'll see much beyond that to be honest. Probably another shot of Finn with the lightsaber in the forest, but I bet that's it.

 

As long as that hilarious giggle doesn't follow I wouldn't mind.

 

I want to hear Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo in the trailer, to better introduce the new characters.
Put it altogether in some sort of sensible order to present a basic plot introduction, but keep things mysterious.

As long as they don't show any character deaths in the trailer, it should be fine.
We better not see Starkiller being destroyed
Unless Snoke/Luke have bigger roles than expected, I don't need to see them either.
Assuming that the trailer talks about Luke, Maz might be a good reveal for it, even if it's just the voice.

Most trailers givesthe whole movie away so I'd hope this will not be the case with TGA trailer.

Nust enough to water our mouths and leave us wanting to see the movie so bad to find out what happens next

 

Anything is fine, I just don't want to see Snoke or Luke!
