I see HISHE as slightly better than CinemaSins (which I hate with a fiery passion).

At least HISHE is a little more transparent about being tongue-in-cheek (so no, friends, this is actually not how the movie should have ended, and HISHE obviously knows that).

For instance, one of their first works was the LOTR one.

Do you think they honestly think LOTR would have been better off if the Fellowship just flew to Mordor on eagles? Because a big part of the internet seems to agree, having totally missed the joke HISHE was trying to make- sure, there can be things like "plot holes" or less than stellar decision making by characters, but it ultimately also allows for a far better story to take place.

That was a great video by HISHE. Although they poked fun at the film's decisions, they also poked fun at the people criticizing TLJ. I don't like that.

I will be upfront; I enjoyed How It Should Have Ended's take on The Last Jedi. This sounds dumb, but I actually felt excitement for all the tweaks that they made for in my view they made for a better movie. The only one is the Ben Kenobi one for I actually like the concept of Rey being normal, but even then: they managed to justify and tie that in well.

And Luke stopping the laser blasts, yes. That is what I wanted to see. It would have been a nice follow through from The Force Awakens and really, given how I did not buy Luke's redemption at all in The Last Jedi. And that is sad; how I honestly felt more joy/ excitement over a parody animated movie of TLJ then the actual movie.

If people genuinely enjoy TLJ, cool. Enjoy it all you want. But for me; it basically killed off a lot of my excitement for SWs in general. Maybe, next trilogy? But hey;at least TLJ gave me this video. :)

I absolutely adore HISHE! I love their channel so much. There is one video they made recently that’s all the best Star Wars bits from all the films - except TLJ

Oh yeah I would completely agree HISHE is a lot more friendly and tounge and cheek. For me it’s a lot of “oh yeah I didn’t think about that” moments.

As for CinemaSins, for me I guess it’s also a bit more of a cynical tounge and cheek but I will say I like that no film is safe.

I did get my back up when They criticised the 2016 jungle book but thats because I worked on that film for two years...so I’m not completely immune. But I got over it eventual hahahahaha
