Hi, I wanted to ask you if it's possible to edit or delete my old posts? The edit button disappears after a while.

    Thank you!

You can ask a mod to do it for you, but after a while regular users cannot edit their old posts.

My guess is that this is to avoid abuse of the edit feature (like going back and editing old posts people have agreed with to something else). It also makes things easier to moderate- if old posts could be edited, someone could go back and put something that breaks forum rules into one of their old posts, and it wouldn't bump the post to the top. It'd be a mess.

@cawatrooper pretty much said it all and said it well. The window to edit any posts is 1 hour from the initial post, anything after that needs to be handled by the staff or a mod. You also can't personally delete a post in a thread, but again if its a valid request we can help with that.

Feel free to message myself or anyone else on staff for anything specific. Also, the forum home page lists staff and mods who are online at the moment should you ever need anything.
