    (Besides with thundering applause)

It took 14 episodes but Bad Batch finally has a plot. The Kaminoan scientist is in the hands of the Empire, the Prime Minister has been removed from power, and the clones will probably be exterminated, possibly by using another "Order 66" type self destruct protocol.

I don't see any of the Bad Batch surviving the series, except possibly Hunter. They're too good at what they do to unmentioned in the OT. I see the team sacrificing itself to save Omega though. She'll survive and we'll see her again in the Boba Fett series.

I'll be placing some Cantina Credits on the line in the casino if anybody wants to wager, but that's not the point of this post. What I really want is to hear what the other scummy villains think will happen - how do you think Bad Batch will end?

It will end with them all reunited deciding that it's a big galaxy what to do next.

I disagree. Bad Batch is filler. The pandemic stopped production of all the live action series so Bad Batch was all Disney+ could do. Animators and voice actors can work remotely even if they're quarantined.

We're getting a bunch of live action series and a new movie in the near future. That's where Disney+ is focusing their time and effort. I don't see them continuing with Bad Batch once better content - live action content - returns.

Dave Filoni did some great work in TWC. He kind of ran out of freshness by the time he did Rebels. And Bad Batch is stale, like my jokes. Hasn't been anything new or interesting in a long time.I honestly doubt it would even exist if the pandemic didn't push the live action series back a year or two.

If you still want to bet you're welcome to. I might be completely wrong about everything. But before you hand over your Cantina Credits to me I thought it would be fair for you to understand why I'm betting the way I am.

These things take years. The first assets for the bad batch date back to 2019 long before the pandemic. The show was probably pitched in 2018 and I know there was a rumor that the show was pitched over half a decade ago. The clone wars was first worked on in 2005. Rebels was first worked on in early 2013.

Definitely an interesting question. idk if any of the showrunners have addressed the Task Force 99 elephant in the room.

Not to say that Wrecker, Hunter, and co are all gonna go bad, almost assuredly not in this kid-friendly show. But maybe this will be the Imperial answer to our clone heroes at some point?

I know it doesn't take much for Star Wars add in details later, and I see that flexibility. Like, we don't see Hunter in Rebels or the Original Trilogy, but maybe he was somewhere else? The galaxy is a big place after all.

So... my only prediction for now is that the ending will not be too terribly dark. Maybe a character or two will die by the end, but I'm thinking more like a TROS "dark" ending than Rogue One's.

"What is this, some kinda Good Batch?"- Omega, probably some time in the last episode.

I have no idea how The Bad Batch is gonna end, but I do think this season is gonna end with at least one BB death. From the start, the tragic vibes has been strong in this one... I believe it unlikely that Omega is gonna randomly die, unless the last two episodes really get into some heavy cloning plot territory, but I am 100% certain that at least one BB clone is gonna bite the dust. Originally, I was guessing that Tech would be the one to go as he and Echo fulfill many of the same functions, only that Echo has already been saved and redeemed once, so having him go out would be less of an impact; no, Tech is probably gonna bite Crosshair's bullet, or something. But, with the latest episode in mind,
    Hunter
is on the table of going down in a blaze of glory, and... as much as I like that character, it does make a whole lot of narrative and character sense for that one to go. So yeah, it's gonna be an intense season closer, I bet.

So glad season 2 is happening. I thought with Hera appearing & connecting with Omega that is worthy of a 2nd season. It's a big galaxy so many characters from TCW, Rebels etc could make a appearance.

It’s going to end with a cliffhanger, and a scene of Boba Fett appearing in the doorway, just before turning to black with the words ‘continuing 2022..’ or something like that…

Granted, there's been cases in the past where one of the animated shows introduced a new character who seemed doomed at the time because they were prominent and important, and yet nowhere to be found in the films, but they ended up surviving and appearing later on anyway. And we do still have some more OT-era projects coming down the pipeline, so maybe some of the Batch could eventually show up in those?

All the same, I agree it does seem foreboding. I suspect the show will have a bittersweet ending, moreso than Rebels, but not as downbeat as TCW either. Bad Batch will be somewhere in the middle, methinks. Beyond that though, I can't really say how I expect the show will end in terms of storyline.
