All this talk of Kylo Ren posing as Darth Vader made me remember the MSW rumors that the big bad of this movie supposedly kills Kylo Ren at the end and says something to the effect that "You're no Darth Vader". I had always assumed this was because of some failure on Kylo Ren's part, but what if the big bad knows who Darth Vader was and was pissed that this upstart had the gall to assume his mantle?

Thanks for sharing. I think your leak is quite plausible, and it answers the question of there a Star Destroyer crashed on the planet, and connecting it to characters we see in TFA.
I think that Kylo's "ESB moment" could in fact be the reveal that he is a Solo. Obviously we don't know for sure but that's how the rumors are shaping up.

Pure speculation which follows two lines of thought here. One, that "Uber" is Darth Plagueis -- which is an idea I like, but will be alright with if it doesn't happen. Two, as it pertains to the rumor that "Uber" kills Kylo Ren for some sort of failure. Maybe Kylo Ren thinks of himself as the big baddie and "Uber" feels it necessary to show him what's up. If "Uber" is indeed Darth Plagueis, he could then bring Kylo back from the dead, possibly killing Kylo Ren as proof not to mess with him, and bringing Kylo back (because he's a worthy apprentice) to say that he still has much to learn from the master. Probably way off the mark as to how TFA (and the ST) will turn out, but an idea (if it turned out to be the case) I could get on board with.

No offense, but I hope that doesn't happen. Its one thing for Plaguies to "cheat" death and remain in the shadows for years. But if we start killing and resurrecting people it removes all the stakes from the SW universe. I'd rather they keep all life after death to force ghosts rather than actual resurrection.

None taken. I understand your point and agree that I would rather they maintain continuity in the Star Wars universe. In my initial post I did not articulate my thoughts correctly. Perhaps "mostly" killing him (that is to say beating him to within an inch of his life) would be sufficient as to not be an actual resurrection, but enough to get the idea across to Kylo Ren and the audience about "Uber's" badassery and mastery of the Force (as if to say I can easily kill you or save you if I wanted).

That wasn't MSW. It was a user on this site called @bothanspi, who claimed he had worked at Pinewood and had been present for much of the filming. He basically listed off a lot of heavy hitting leaks, as well as answering people's questions. I actually liked his story, but he is most likely false at this point since he claimed that the desert planet was Tatooine (which it's not).

Here's a link to his post:

My bad, it gets harder and harder to keep the rumors straight each passing day.

EricHizzo you wouldn't by chance have any proof would you? I don't know, lets go for something easy, something small. Something you could easily ask your source who supposedly is a writer.

What is the code name for Boyega's character? or any character (that we have not already heard before).Just one. Just one simple code name used in the production call sheets, shooting schedule and scripts.

    Just one.

I don`t get it but im curious. How do you check something, we don`t know yet. If we check him with stuff we already know its quite useless. Code names in call sheets how do you check those, with the Names MSW released and everybody knows?

Although I doubt a writer would have any insight on shooting code names, what would that even prove? If we don't know johns code name we couldn't verify its validity any way.

You have no idea how much crow I'm going to feed you and @TIDMADT if Uber/Serkis is Darth Plagueis, nor will you comprehend how much I will relish it. (thrawn)

There is no proof that Plagueis will be in the movie. Why is everyone grasping for Plagueis straws so hard?

I've always agreed with you. If it is well known that Vader is from the Jedi religion (at least among the high ranking imperials), wouldn't there be some explanation as to why he gets to survive order 66?

Palpy says to the senate "I have survived an assassination attempt by the jedi", who does he say saves him?

Anakin led the 501st, and then vader does. No one makes a connection?

Lastly, Anakin, going by the name of lord vader leads a legion of troopers against the jedi temple. No one saw or recorded this? Wouldn't all the troopers know Anakin is vader?

Everyone is grasping at Plagueis straws so hard because it is a way to tie the PT to the ST. I'm not saying they're right, but that's why most are in my opinion.

If it had to be someone from the PT I'd go with Maul since he doesn't have a canon death, unlike Plagueis who is dead.

Maul was cut in half, while Plagueis was described as being "killed in his sleep". They found a way to bring Maul back, so I'm just as sure they could come up with something for Plagueis.

I always just assumed that a dark jedi or sith was still part of the same religion as a light side jedi. Just different application of the principles. Never read into it that it was known he was a good jedi in the past. Same "god", same belief system, same supernatural powers, just different values.
