    Hi to ALL.I had something GREAT(I think it is...:))to share with ALL my friends here.I was watching SWTFA again and see something.Did you remember the attack to the Village at Jakku???In that scene Poe shot one stormtrooper very close to Finn.Finn run to him to help him BUT the stormtrooper die.I notice that when the dying stormtrooper touch Finn helmet and mark his fingers with blood at Finn helmet the hand is the same color of skin than Finn is.I think he watch his brother die in his arm.Maybe not maybe yes.He got in shock with that and he get AWAKE.Check it out...:).It can be anyone.Who do you think it was???

    You realise of course, that when a black person says to another black person, 'hey brother!', sometimes it's only meant figuratively. What I'm saying, is that not all black people are brothers.

    If you're basing your theory on them having the same skin colour, you're on very shaky ground.

    I believe he was his friend who was with him since the beginning of his stormtrooper service, his death caused a change in Finn against the first order.

    I think that Finn did not know he shot him.There was a lot of fire against the stormtroopers.In that scene the dying stormtrooper did no have his gloves on.It was strange for me showing this point in the movie.

    It was FN-2003, nicknamed "Slip" He has a history with Finn explained in the novel Before the Awakening.

    How would we know? We're never given a hint to how his relationship with the other troopers was.

    You'd think that they were all like family to each other, given their story, but he was gleefully killing them throughout the movie.

    I voted friend...but he didn't have any friends. I assume it is either "Nines" / FN-2199, "Slip" / FN-2003, or "Zeroes" / FN-2000.

    Most likely Slip. Slip was always failing...and Finn was always trying to help him make it through.

    This comes from the short novel called "Before the Awakening" that has 3 short stories, one covering Finn, one for Rey, and one for Poe.

    Yeah, but I wished the movie showed us they were friends or had some sort of a relationship, would have had a greater impact on the reason Finn defected. But for the people who haven't read the books, its just another faceless stormtrooper...
