    Battlefront (2004) is a better game than Battlefront II (2005), outside of the obvious fact that BFII has a lot more content.

    edit: And Elite Squadron ranks somewhere in the top 3 games of the series, easily.

    For me it was the "immune" to the force bit.
    I don't need the force in all my Star Wars but the general essence of the force, binding everything and everyone together, is a big part of what Star Wars is about. It makes everything feel important and means anything CAN be important. But when you create an entire race where it's just "Nah bro, don't work here." It kind of removes the mythology of Star Wars for me. Maybe not all of it but it's peeling back the onion layers....

    Even in movies without the force, you still get tastes of it and how important it really is to the galaxy.

    There's more nuance to it obviously and that's not what this thread is for obviously. So back to the lulz


    My next hot take:
    If George could have learnt to play nice with others back in the 80s, I really think the PT had a chance, based on story potential, to be as good or better than the OT....
