    That still hasn't happened either.

All I did was state that there have been no development with this trilogy since it was announced. That's not trolling, just an observation of the facts.

To be fair, I wouldn't want to break an NDA with Disney, if that's the case.

It was supposed to shoot before too, but had been pushed back: https://collider.com/obi-wan-series-delayed-disney-plus/. That being said, there are people actively working ont he show, which is more than we can say about Johnson's trilogy. No news on it's progress since it was announce almost 3 years ago.

Even if it was cancelled, they would've told us by now. What good would it do them keeping a project on a shelve for years and not doing anything with it? Plus, for what it's worth they've been open about their firings; they've announced it to the public. It's not like they've tried to hide the firings.

    Probably, I'd agree.

Main reason they might hold back, if that's the case (and there's not terribly much reason to think that right now) is simply because it's clearly a powder keg of a discussion to be had.

I doubt they care about the online discourse.

I mean, if they ditched Lord and Miller & Trevorrow they way they did, I doubt concern over a powder keg is a real thing for them. Plus the smash hit of the Mandalorian would have been a perfect time to do it. Pull that bandaid off right at the point of a universally liked thing.

What you're trying to do here is make a "thing" out of essentially nothing....and to a degree, attempting to split hairs and argue a non-issue. As we've seen in the past, Disney has ZERO issues with announcing the departure of a former contractee, and I'd be willing to say that having no news about a current project says nothing....just that they're not discussing it.

Be sure that whenever they decide to discuss it...they will.
