To publicly note- An Ugnaught version of ‘American Chopper’, set in the SW universe, entirely compromised of coarse, half-cut banter between Nick Nolte, Tom Waits, and Ron Pearlman would make for a very fine segment within a renewed version of a ‘Star Wars Holiday Special’.

    It could easily be called:

    ‘I Have Spoken!’

    Any other ideas?!

How about a scene inspired by "History of the World, Part I," where the King of France plays full-sized chess with live people. Except in this case it would be Dejarik instead of chess, and the people would be alien creatures.

I love the old variety show feel of the original Holiday Special, so I would want to see skits with celebrities playing Star Wars characters, especially people you wouldn't normally guess to be cast in a Star Wars movie. I'm thinking people like LeBron James, Jimmy Kimmel, Anthony Anderson, Tim Allen, Ricky Gervais, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Hart, etc.

Yoda as Santa Claus, leaving little holocrons of Yoda wisdom in children's stockings.

A performance by Muse playing "Supermassive Death Star."

Mark Hamill would make a good Grinch character. Some of the other saga cast members could drop by his house and try to cheer him up.

Or they could go in the other direction and have him sitting in a big wingback chair next to a fire reading stories to younglings from a huge book that slightly resembles one of the ancient Jedi texts. As he reads, it fades into each of the live action skits. So cliche, but I'd eat it up.

This would be a gold mine! You could have Pedro Pascal guest star to try the speederbikes out in full Mando outfit. :)

I would totally watch a SW Holiday Special if they tried to make another. But because of the bad past associated with it, and Disney's attempts to rid the world of it, it's not happening.

    I've said it before, but:

Get Billy Dee as Lando to host it, set in Cloud City

It should focus on the mis-adventures of Jar Jar Binks as he travels across the galaxy with a group of porgs.

He's trying to get home in time for the annual Gungan Maxi-Big Festival but gets into all sorts of scrapes and escapades on the way, with hilarious results.

Well I doubt LF will put the words Holiday and/or Soecial in it but I do like the "Storytime" idea.........

Once a year (around December. Or a week after the superbowl or whatever) the "Storyteller" spins a yarn about some legendary tale of the past like Xim the Despot or Exar Kun. With the occasional interruption from a youngling, so the camera freezes & the youngling says, "didn't Exar Kun have black hair, not brown?" And the Story teller says, "You're rite! He did!" Then we see the actor's hair color change & the film freezes.

It will be great & if any changes happen (like they can't get the same actor who played the same character & LF is forced to get another actor) the change can be attributed to an in canon mistake or interpretation by the storyteller.

Lucasfilm (LF) I better get a production credit if you make this! LoL!
