For me, one of my biggest disappointments in the PT was the lack of Darth Vader. I wanted so badly to see the "last of the Jedi" hunted down by Vader himself, demonstrating just how powerful the dark side could be. Just think, a scene of Vader force choking several Jedi at once, in the air, then throwing his lightsaber through all of them in one fell swoop. Maybe a bit graphic but it could be done with clever editing too. Anyhow, you see where I am going with this. Vader is a badassmutha and I wanted to see just how badass he could be.

A close second is the how little I cared about the fate of Anakin. Lucas could have just ripped of Macbeth, substituted characters and made a better film. No real sense of tragedy unless you are already a die hard Star Wars fan. Anakin should have been the everyman hero that you think is impossible to sway. His romance with Padme made this even worse as he broke his vow of abstinence waaay too early in the plot. A better execution of this would have been that their romance was implied but they could never act because of their respective life choices. Then, toward the end, they reach their breaking point and hook up, but this endangers Padme leading to her demise and Anakin's broken vow, even though it was for true love, is the beginning of his downfall. Then, I could actually feel bad for him.

In the OT, I reckon a lot of people feel the sentiment that ROTJ should have been set on Kashyyk and not Endor. No brainer, really.

To end and kill a few minutes with some laughs....
