I'm kinda in a Rogue One mood.

I watch this film more than one might say is "healthy." I really love it. My only problem is that so far they haven't explored the Guardians of the Whills in more depth in book form (yeah, I know there was a YA book, but surely they could do more). I love the way they had pilgrims and started to look at the religions/cults that followed/worshipped the force in the GFFA. Too bad they've not done anything more with that.

I love how Luke in TLJ referred to the Force as a religion, “these sacred texts and I are all that remains of the Jedi religon.”

I don't want to bash TLJ, but I do love that, and would have preferred an exploration of the Jedi religion to say the whole Canto Bight thing.

Me too, especially because Grand Moff Tarkin said in ANH, “The Jedi are extinct. Their fire has gone out of the universe. You, my friend are all that's left of their religion.” So we have in ANH and TLJ that they classify the Jedi Way as a religion.

I hope that the film/trilogy whatever it is that B&W are supposed to be doing will have some exploration of the religious side of the GFFA. Especially if they are going to go back to the Knights of the Old Republic era.

It will be interesting if they do. However, it might get a little confusing since Jedism (a bonefide religion) exists. I can see fans looking up Jedi religion go learn more about the fictional Knights of the Republic, and ending up on the Jedi Church websites. :p
