    Alternatively... what if you are so honest about possibly lying, that even the Chancellor doesn't quite know whether you are fully joining him or not?? Something like:

    "I will aide you, Chancellor. But my allegiance is to the Republic, not to you alone."

    Yen-Zur may appreciate the candidness / Jun's growing political prowess. It may backfire though. But I don't see much difference between openly lying now, or openly making the deal with the right to change your mind later. I think we need a blend of the two. Choice 1.5 :D

    Wow this explains a lot!!! It explains why SIS Guy was aboard Snote's ship so much before the battle of Dantooine even began. He was always Snote's!
