Is GRABBA only interested in COLLECTING THE FLUKE'S BOUNTY MONEY, or is there a SINISTER PLOT at work here? Is this just a HALF-ASSED cover-up of a MAJOR PLOT HOLE, or is the AUTHOR being a POMPOUS TOOL once again?

"Since the Fluke is not a dumb man, we needed a dumb stranger (that's you, sir) to go and look for him with casual intent. He was not to suspect our involvement. Miss Siva grew tired of your lack of progress and gave us a call to arrest you. To put it bluntly: you've proven to be more trouble than you're worth."

"On the bright side, we've caught his sister and more importantly, we've captured her ship, the Centennial Turkey! That ship once belonged to Mr. Konteego, better known by his outlaw name 'Mynock'. Our beloved boss can really hold a grudge, as you can see."

"Thus, this is precisely why you're being sentenced to death by arena combat."

Well, you had a feeling someone's death was coming at the end of this LONG, TEDIOUS EXPOSITION. DEATH by BOREDOM or DEATH by DYING... it's all the same to you.

Been waiting for someone to break the stalemate. Author was LAZY; DON'T LISTEN to his POISONOUS WORDS.

There's a specific reason for it. It's not something that's going to be revealed just yet, but imagine a BIG NUMBER of LAYERS pertaining the events that happened at the end of the original series. We've started peeling those layers back with the two flashbacks in Chapter 2 and with this little revelation in Chapter 5. Grabba certainly isn't the only guy pissed off by the BOUNTY THEFT that THE FLUKE pulled off with the help of MYNOCK, KESTREL and their MYSTERIOUS SITH LORD FRIEND.

There's also to account the unknown circumstances that got TROOPER disbarred from the REPUBLIC MILITARY and placed the BOUNTIES on MYNOCK and KESTREL in the first place.

Without revealing too much, it's meant to be as this mysterious background plotline that is steadily heading into a collision course with our protagonists. How we eventually get there, however - is just about anyone's guess, given the interactive/freeform nature of the thread. I used to think Doop and Saber would meet up in Chapter 1, and yet here we are.

This here is your STANDARD FATEFUL CHOICE. On one hand, you could INVEST in CHOKE and be 100% certain that it could prove useful in your upcoming battle. However, there is a 50% chance of it being an INEFFECTIVE WEAPON.

On the other hand, you could INVEST in SOMETHING DUMB and RISKY like GIRLTALK, with a 50% chance of usefulness, but a 100% chance of success. For some BIZARRE REASON, you like THESE ODDS more and thus PICK GIRLTALK above all else!



Your OPPONENT is either MALE or FEMALE. Surely the ODDS will favor you this time? You've certainly FACED FAR WORSE ODDS and WON in the past.
