I mean, you're not wrong. For the first week I actually had no idea how to follow up on it because the votes kept coming to a tie. I pissed off for a couple of days and came back to a very unwise attempt in trying to animate a lightsaber battle. Then I realized that not only would this take a ludicrous amount of time with the way Photoshop animation works, but that I have also wasted a couple of days doing it. So, I salvaged two of those frames, started working on the escape and now I'm almost done. There's a post-escape scene I have yet to complete that takes place in the cab, but other than that we're almost there. We're also switching to Doop for an update to decide what happens with the Turkey after the pazaak game.

I'll address the screenplay feedback in a different post, but I'm really elated about the way it's been received so far.

Every time I make a joke about "the very well-animated sequence that totally happened off-screen," it was because I tried but then I had way too much to drink by Frame 30, so it turned into a complete and utter sham and I hungoverdly posted the update on a Sunday afternoon after contemplating getting myself banned so I didn't have to do it anymore and I could just blame it all on the mods.

I mean, you're technically a mod, but you can still blame it on the other mods. Just throwing it out there.

See, that's what I miss about ORPA 1. Al doesn't have a chronic drinking problem yet. Al, you need to drink more! Also Bruce... that glorious hat/probe droid could get us out of anything.

Was-was that a reference to how the original Mass Effect adventure ended?
You know, there's just something so attractive about the idea of Bruce being this mysterious omnipotent legacy from the old comic that never transferred back.

Note: I cut the post-escape scene so I could make the update tonight. We don't really need it right now, and I could easily work on it in the background while we handle the other stuff.

You decide to TAKE a SHORTCUT first!

You also do a BACKFLIP. Because of course you do.

You are now SPEEDING towards the SAIL BARGE after using this MAGICAL SHORTCUT in an OPPOSITE LANE. MISSY thinks you're SUICIDAL, but you feel that she is more worried about the fact that you're breaking SO MANY TRAFFIC LAWS.

With the aid of the SPACE TAXI and your STREET SMARTS, you CATCH UP to the heart of the action!

You are now DARTH SABER. Even though it may SEEM like you're just GRINDING your GLOWSTICKS together, you are locked in a DEADLY DUEL against CAYDEN with lots of SLASHES, CUTS and FAKE TWIRLS involved.

You are doing your BEST to HOLD OUT against your opponent's AGGRESSIVE LIGHTSABER FORM. When you come down to it, MAKASHI just isn't made to COUNTER stuff like this.

For a JEDI KNIGHT, Cayden sure seems to ENJOY CHANNELING HIS INNER FURY.

The CAMERA SUBTLY SHIFTS its FOCUS despite all the OTHER ANIMATED JUNK going on to TELL you to AVERT your gaze in its direction.

    Oh, look! It's your FRIENDS.

You actually have those! Unlike your OPPONENT.

You PERFORM your MOST USEFUL USELESS FORCE JUMP EVER as you now find yourself on top of the BARGE'S UPPER LEVEL and AWAY from CAYDEN'S BLADE.

    Cayden shouts some OBSCURE REFERENCE.

You let loose a ONE LINER that would feel RIGHT AT HOME in the 90s. Since you're a LIGHTSIDED SITH, though, it doesn't quite have an EDGE to it.

This is how people die, you know.

However, since you're a MAIN CHARACTER, you understand that the PLOT is on your side, and therefore LENIENT to all the BANTHA POODOO you keep shoveling in its direction.

As you safely board the SPACE TAXI, you ORDER RATCHET to KICK IT UP A NOTCH and ENGAGE THE VENTRAL THRUSTERS!

You effectively SPEED PAST the BARGE and ENTER LUDICROUS AMOUNTS of SPEED.

Well beyond the SPEED LIMIT for this zone.

Meanwhile, Cayden FINALLY gets the HINT that it's time to turn off his lightsaber.

You are now DEFINITELY PAST THE SPEED LIMIT.

    <TEXT NOT NEEDED>

    <TEXT NOT NEEDED>

A SPACE COP breaks the SPEED LIMIT in an OPPOSING LANE to BUST you for FORGETTING TO PUT YOUR SEATBELT ON.

It's important to be SAFE while DRIVING.

    You are now DOOP SKYCHAFER.

You have LOST the PAZAAK GAME and therefore YOUR SHIP.

THE QUIRK, the STOWAWAY who STOLE BACK her ship from you FAIRLY, is MOCKING YOU.

DIALOGUE CHOICES appear in front of your screen.

    Pick one.

    These dialogue choices are hilarious.
"Oh my, it looks like the Force just wasn't with you today."
"Yeah? Well neither was your daddy."

Though I think we have a winner!

    It's the Kylux of ORPA!
Because clearly what this adventure needed was some good old fashioned Foe Yay.

"Yeah? Well neither was your daddy."

But, be sure to accompany it with various force puns (as many as humanly possible).

Mark me down as "aboard the SSV DADDY"!
Will you continue work on the screenplay? I really want to see a version with the full movie.
But that would just be FORCED.

Mommy once told me I was a weak, pathetic boy who succumbed to peer pressure.

    Mommy was right.

The cop not pulling them over for speeding, but for not having their seat belts was just a little too real for me.

    I second this.
    I do not second this.

Ok then, let's go with the "daddy"-answer then.
Has it ever been the case so far, that all folks pick the same answer?
Wow. All SW fans are united again :)

Let's face it: Star Wars is mostly about daddy issues.

So.... are we still locked into this Missy romance line, or can we still swap over to Ratchet?

On other romantic settings, we gotta figure out which one of these would turn her on more. We can still get our ship back another way... ;) ...

Everyone knows in proper Toydarian marriages, all household possessions immediately transfer to the Toydarian.

Okay, so we already know she digs being emotionally assaulted. It's kind of her thing. Let's doubledown, and really hit home that daddy complex she so obviously has.
