    Well, let's put it this way:
    My local cinema (part of a pretty big cinema chain, IMC) isn't screening it at all, and I'm sure as hell not paying extra to travel to see a movie.
    Besides, the excitement overall seems to be way less. I guess May is just a very busy month

    I couldn't find a way to be hyped seeing the main cast. While I like Woody and I'm all about the donglove, Ehrenreich looks so completely poor of a choice, It stops me from being excited. Not to mention Emilia Clarke is....sigh sorry, she's not a good actor at all. She's easily the worst actor on GOT, and only the writing gets her through her scenes. I can't find excitement with those two front and center.

    I'll probably wander in 3 weeks after release, on a matinee after reading the reviews. But seeing what the early critic reviews are saying, it's a mediocre action film that could easily be considered the worst SW film to date.

    Hope you at least get to see it so you can break it down and give your full opinion on it. Hope this film turns around on you. Considering that not many people have had multiple viewings of the film, it should get better reviews with more viewings. We shall see.

    I wish it were an Obi-Won movie about to come out in a week. Man I would be so hyped. Or something new. New Jedi, or something. something, anything but a safe Han Solo origin story.

    You could say that an Obi-wan film would be playing it safe as well. Perhaps even more so. I know I would love an Obi Wan film set in between III and IV, but we didn't get that so whats the point in complaining about it now? Same goes for something new. We got a Han Solo film, so lets embrace it and see what happens. You might actually be surprised and enjoy it.

    Considering that Han is like my fifth or sixth favorite character from the Original Trilogy, it's actually surprising how excited I am. I think it's the bromance between Han and Chewie...

    it's definitely Chewie and Lando (and wigglies) that have me excited for this.
    i still have my reservations about Ehrenreich and neither Qi'ra nor L3 are doing anything for me.
    maybe Val and Enfys Nest could be cool.

    Luke, Leia, R2 and Vader are definitely ahead and, depending on mood, sometimes Yoda.

    Oh, I am convinced in actors - that's why I stopped watching the TV spots. I've read Last Shot so I'm in with L3. What needs to convince me is the story. All I know is that I need more Han/Chewie in my life. :)

    So the writer of Solo (Lawrence Kasdan’s son) came out and said Lando is a Pansexual. Glad we cleared that up after all these years as I’ve been wondering it since 1980!
