    So back in the old days before Rogue One, before TFA, Rey's name was rumored to be Kira. WAHT IF this is her real name and Rey is just the name she goes by because she doesn't know her birth name?!?

    Anyone agree with me? Anyone? ANYONE?!

    No. "Rey" is just someone who she admires, she is probably keeping her real name a secret. Perhaps she was told to keep it secret by whoever dropped her off on Jakku. Remember the X-Wing pilot helmet she wore at dinnertime on Jakku? She's fan-girling the previous owner of the helmet, a pilot named Dosmit Raeh, the name is even printed on the helmet in the standard Aurbesh language. Rey also has a small ragdoll of Dosmit Raeh wearing an X-wing pilot uniform inside her AT-AT home too.

    FN 20187: separated from his family to become a Stormtrooper.
    Rey: separated from her family to unknown reasons.
    Kylo: separated from his parents to become a Jedi, from the bonus of TFA:

    Finn is 100% definately not Force Sensitive, his First Order trooper medicals would have picked it up from blood tests (midi-chlorian counts). Just because he swung a lightsabre around a few times in TFA, that does not make him a a Force sensitive. Han Solo used a lightsabre to save Luke on Hoth in TESB, does that make Han a Force sensitive too? No.

    I always thought that myself, but we know her so much now as "Rey" if we learn her name is actually Kira, it'll be most likely less referred to, just like Finn when he finds his family. Kylo Ren is Ben Solo and both are used all the time, but this long wait for answers to Rey's past is dragging on to the point that it's just a waste now if her name was changed.
