    I am not sure at this point, i do see him more of a gimmick to make up for NO vader around, which i find rather disturbing but if it plays into the movie and how it works out, perhaps ill see it differently. As for being Evil or Good, if he was taken as a kid and turned to the Dark side, how is a kid to suppose to fight back against that? Its like someone with PTSD, they cant run from it, so they turn off that side of the brain to deal with life or the situation they are in.

    Deception. Kylo Ren is wrapped in it, and that usually always involves at least a smidgen of self-deception, if not a great deal of it. Wheelbarrows of deception, in fact. Lies. Nearly all of it. The whole thing. But he doesn't know that yet...

    Void.     Hollow. Empty. He's got an emptiness he's ambitiously seeking to fill...

    Purpose-driven struggle. To cover up a mounting vengeance he will discover is false. He leads. He follows. He despises failing. There will be answers. Killing in the name of...

    But it appears he's got a compass. A gyroscope. Perhaps BB-8-like. But unlike BB-8, he may kill many before he rights himself. As an audience, we'll have to deal with that. On the other side of the screen, I bet you anything Adam Driver wrestled with it. Kylo Ren is struggling...

    Confusion. How he feels. Questions. About others. Himself. What's right. What's dark. What's wrong. What's light. There will be answers. In one form or another...

    Transformation. Character-wise in Kylo Ren, we know we are approaching a great mystery. We are suddenly curious. We know the raven will change...

    Metamorphosis.

    Kylo Ren had that good in him at the end of the sequels, but during TFA, he killed is own father and had that anger attack, remember... (lol) Anger flowed through him and he wanted so badly to kill the jedi. He was just too driven of the dark side.
