    In a time when clones, scoundrels, smugglers, bounty hunters are a normal part of life, if you found a light Saber and the Hand of Luke Skywalker, what would you do with them?

    Rey went to the cave looking for her origins and found thousands of clones/images of herself. She has power and knowledge that even Luke did not have when Old Ben began his training.

    The Light Saber called to her, why? Because she was made from the hand that owns it?

    It is not far fetched way to get xplain Rey and her circumstance. All the major characters of the show are related to Anakin...except Rey?

    Finn is a major character, so is Poe. Are they all related to Anakin? Rey is her own character, you're going to be disappointed.

    I'm not saying it doesn't work in the logic of the universe. I'm saying it doesn't work as a story beat. In my opinion it's just too silly.

    Personally I adhere much more to this line of thought; it will shift the big question in any future episodic installments from "Is he/she a Skywalker??" to "Who will the force choose this time, and why?"

    Not really. It is just a thought. The Star Wars Saga is about Anakin not Poe.

    I see your point... Ep I - VI would obviously be Anakin's story, while VII - IX would be the conclusion and fallout from Anakin's legacy into the evolution of something new. The ST wouldn't be "spin-offs" in the truest sense, because it would still involve him and his ancestors in some way. Especially if Anakin has some sort of presence in IX, which things definitely seem to be trending towards.
