    Some people say the end of the movie shows Rey is pregnant.

    Ben putting his hand on her belly, Rey taking the name of Skywalker and the 2 lightsabers put there like a metaphor of twins to come ?

    What do you think ?

    This is an interesting question.

    As of this moment, since it was not pointed out in the movie, Rey isn't pregnent. However, it is quite possible that this could become a point to be explored in future installments of a Rey-focused Star Wars; so at best, it is a case of Shrödinger's pregnancy... or something. So no, as of RoS, Rey isn't pregnant, in the same way that Leia was categorically not Luke's sister in ANH, but that may change.

    (Personally, I would find it a little underwhelming if she, in the future, turned out to be pregnant with Ben's force child, as this would undo the point of ending the Skywalker Saga. It would, IMHO, be better for Star Wars to let the Skywalker thing be concluded and move on to other things. Star Wars litterally has an entire galaxy and several tens of thousands of years of history/backstory to play around with, and to keep anchoring everything to this one single family would weaken the overall franchise in the long run. Let the Skywalker story be finished and stand on its own, and let's move on to other things, please)

    Both writer Charles Soule and Story Group member Matt Martin, amongst others, shot down the notion that the Vader comic cemented Palpatinei as having created Anakin, with Matt going so far as to say that if the intent of the comic pages people keep pointing to as Canon confirmation of that was to in fact confirm it, he would've asked that they be discarded.

    Actually I was referring to ROTS: “Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the Sith. So powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life.”

    That’s what I meant by “kind of implied”. TPM told us Mr. Pouty Face was a kid made by the midis. ROTS told us Captain Evil Pants could make kids by the midis. Not a huge leap in logic.

    I don’t have a copy of ‘The Making of Revenge of the Sith’ to make a screenshot, but the original dialogue from Palps to Anakin was this:

    The Force might have created Anakin for cosmic reasons kinda get that sure.

    Evil Dark lords might have created Anakin for their own nefarious purposes. I can see that evil doesn't need consent to be in keeping with being evil.

    Contrast that with newly redeemed Ben Solo used the force to have kids with a girl he has been obsessed with while she was unconscious. . . there is a few things wrong with that.

    Haha haha the Star Wars story group now if that isn’t a monumentally worthless supposed group of people i have never heard of one.

    It seems the existence of that supposed group is the excuse/justification for some really crap decisions. It’s at though people think some how story or art by committees is the recipe for undeniable success.
