SPECULATION Is Rey's Speeder a Sebulba's Old Pod Racer engine?

    Maybe it's an Old Pod Racer Engine modfied to become a Speeder? Maybe the engine of Sebulba's pod racer or another one

    It makes sense they would build a full size one for Rey to ride on for filming. I thought I read that they actually drove around the desert with it for filming (on some sort of rig or track system.)

    It does make sense to build a 1/1 scale prop.

    In regards to Rey's speeder bike, I could be wrong, but the Sebulba engines/intakes look like they are a little too large to be part of Rey's bike.

    This gives a pretty good sense of size and scale-

    Yeah. I think Rey's speeder is more of a speeder bike than the chariot hotrod Pod Racers.

    Whatever it is...I bet she built it, or heavily modded it from junk in the scrapyard. Could be part pod, part speeder, part starship. Its so big in front...It's either got tons of storage...or I can move a lot faster than we've seen in the trailer. Hopefully she says something like "no, this ISN"T podracing."

    Could be. The styling and color are very reminiscent of Sebulba's machine.

    And it definitely has the homebuilt on Tatooine look.

    Maybe pod racers are like cars, there is many cars of the same model. Maybe his racer is not unique,
    Maybe Rey used parts of Selbulba type racer. :)

    In any case I like the look of it.
