SPECULATION Is Rey's training going to be successful?

I think. She has accepted that she has a destined purpose even if she doesn't understand it. In addition to bringing "Luke back" she wants to understand what is happening to her.

 

I think it will. If not, it won't make Luke look good if every apprentice of his turns bad.

With all the 'grrrl power' and female empowerment injected into Star Wars nowadays, do you think Kathleen Kennedy is going to allow for Rey to fail? Just sayin'. I mean, Rey could master the Millennium Falcon with ease, tap into the Force as if it's second nature, handle a light saber like a pro.. come on..

 

Of course it will, I see no reason why she would fail. She's strong with the force, willing to learn, AND the protagonist of the story. The question is who will be her teacher.
