Jango Fett Origins

I would definitely watch a Jango Fett movie. He (and Obi-Wan) was one of the best points of AOTC. But I don't think Disney/LucasFilm would go for a Jango Fett spin off movie. They would rather use Boba Fett and add some flashbacks of Jango. That would actually be pretty great too.

 

Would be awesome, but I think they would make something like this, more chance for a Boba origins.

 

Ehm, there is a Bobba Fett origin story. It's called "Attack of the clones". It's also continued in the "Clone Wars", which makes sense, because he is, you know, a clone.

 

Im ready for Star Wars to move forward. If you want to do a stand alone on an old character, do the Obi-Wan movie and be done with it. Then just move forward so we can stop having the same 3 stories over and over.

 

Which is why a Boba Fett movie would be more interesting to more people - more people know about him.

Although the standalone movies are perhaps made with a less general audience than the main saga in mind, they're still for a more general SW audience at least, and I doubt as many of those people would be as interested in a Jango film than a Boba film. Boba Fett is just far more iconic and well known than Jango is.

I suspect nobody outside core fans really cares about Jango (and I'm not convinced many fans care all that much about him either!).

Although personally I have reasons why I don't think they should do a Boba film, I also think of all the non-lead characters from Star Wars, he's the most likely candidate for a standalone film I think, just because of the 'legendary' status he's achieved.
