HUMOR Josh Gad Keeps Trying to Get Daisy Ridley to Spoil Star Wars

There is another one of these videos too. Pretty funny. Daisy is definitely joking here but I'm sure it must be frustrating for her to have to keep all the secrets.

 

Keeping secrets is not that bad, but if that's a secret everyone keeps asking about, then it can gets pretty annoying.

 

Personally, I think it's bad form from Josh Gad to keep harrassing her like that!

It's still her first lead movie-role, second time out! And it's in only one of the biggest movie-franchises off all time!!! Where secrecy is a BIG issue!!!

You don't want to be the one who screws up for everyone!!

And I think she's handling it fantastically so far!!!

Josh Gadd is hilarious. Can't wait to see him as LeFou in Beauty and the Beast

And rightly so! Oh man, Josh is so lucky she already gave that lightsaber to Luke...

 

To be honest, Daisy Ridley is the main reason why I'm going to read Murder on the Orient Express this summer.

Yes, she is. She knows its being recorded. He wouldn't do this if she was going to get pissed. He has to be on set with her.

Its also hilarious. It's very meta. Kudos to Daisy for finding humor in what is a very irritating part of being Rey.

 

Why is he there? What's the gag? I get that he's trying to be funny, but he comes off as a stalker fanboy, why does she tolerate it?

He has one of those things called a sense of humor. She has one as well.
It's satire. They are having fun with how serious people take Star Wars.

 

It was staged. Otherwise he wouldn't record it and she wouldn't take part in it. Josh may be a comedian, but he's not a jerk.

 

The set up is a loveable guy that's asking a girl who's out of his league a very personal question...but it's Star Wars...the comedy isn't for everyone

Well, I'd like to think I have a sense of humor and a broad one at that. Maybe it's an American thing, (I'm European, so it's not unlikely) but it's not not connecting with me...

Untill I hear her say: "Oh, we had so much fun, Josh and I, pranking al those SW-fanboys I'm not assuming she is a willing participant!
Don't forget, she's British! They tend to be (the more posh ones, which she seems to be, judging from her accent!) very polite!

Oh, she sure as h€ll is!

Like I said, if it really is all humor, it's not the kind that connects with me! I always need that twinkle in the eye, a grin, just a sign it's all in good fun!

I've known too many people who really are like that, harrassing someone to see if they can make 'em slip up (for real!) and think it's funny!
Trying to get a laugh at someone else's expense!

So even when it's staged (I'd be relieved) it mostly annoys me!
