    I saw The Last Jedi again yesterday for a third time. Although only a small part, I was really impressed with Billie Lourd and her portrayal of Kaydel. I'm really hoping that with Carrie being in Episode IX, that they will give Bille and her character a bigger part. I would really enjoy seeing her character develop in the next film and seeing where the character goes. I think it would be a really nice touch that Carries daughter continues her legacy in Episode IX given that this film was meant to be 'her film'.

    I loved that she was part of Poe's mutiny against Holdo. I thought the scene where Leia enters the bridge before she shoots Poe was brilliant!

    All this! I loved that she had a bigger part in TLJ and I hope it continues into IX.

    In general, I love when under-the-radar people from previous movies end up becoming important in later movies (like Ginny in Harry Potter, for example, and yes I know it was books first) but the relation to Carrie makes it even more special.

    There is one very emotional moment that most people overlook. When Leia has her Mary Poppins moment, the camera focuses in on Billy Lourd. That one gave me man tears.

    I hope they give her a more important part. Let her be the new Mon Mothma or something. She deserves it. General Connix.

    I would be fine with her taking on a larger onscreen leadership role in IX. I only had one criticism of her acting and it was at the very beginning when she was calling out evacuation orders. It didn't feel natural, but that is just being overly critical. Overall, I find her to be a very capable actress.

    She's also the first person they show on screen.

    I would like it if they revealed that she's a descendent of Alderaan survivors.

    She looks just like her mother. She could play Leia with old age makeup for 1 or 2 scenes.

    But LFL probably won't do it.

    She's 2 young 2 b a general. But maybe commander? She's also the last of the "cutes" Tallie & Paige Tico r gone. Jezz is M.I.A.
