SPECULATION Kylo Ren and Vader's Castle in Episode IX?

No, Mustafar won't make an appearance. However, new plants will be introduced. Among them a a volanic planet called Rafatsum.

 

"Kylo Ren and the Sith Lord's Castle" sounds like a crap Harry Potter sequel. No.

KYLO: "But I have a scaaaaar..."

NO!

 

I think that he might use it if he knows what and where it is but not as a capital...it means way too much personally for him

 

Kylo Ren is the new face of Star Wars.

 

No PT stuff. JJ hates the prequels.

 

... and Disney wants the past to be wiped, in order to install its proper characters, places, and stories:
no more big3 (Han, Luke, Leia)
no more Skywalkers
no more Vader, Palpatine, Emperor and Empire
no more jedi, no more sith
all aliens, living species, planets, techs and transports (except the ISD) are completely new.

The old stuff is relegated in the far back (when it's not annihilated). The Force allows everything, while one remembers that the silly Vader couldn't read in Leia's mind the location of the rebel base in ANH.
All that was SW before Disney has vanished.
Instead, we have a badass Mary Sue that knows everything from scratch, and an unfinished teenager villain. And a broom boi.


This is why I think the past is behind and nothing of it will come back.

 

Yup, that's totally the reason why we hear prequel Obi-Wan and The Emperor in Rey's Force vision. Technically Vader's castle was introduced in R1.

Him liking the prequels doesn't mean anything, because he references Sidious and prequel Obi-Wan. To that end, Rian Johnson went furthur to include what happened in the prequels in 8.

I hear rumours that PT stuff was "strongly recommend" by the Story Group, not JJ.

 

And you believe everything the Internet tells you? That's why it's called rumors.

You hope not LucasFilm got no one else, Rey can't be the new face. Her character sucks, every though she is pretty. They killed off Luke, all they got Kylo Ren, and they can add Phasma as his apprentice , imagine her with a red lightsaber.

 

I like the visual of the lonely King Kylo Ren. Having the whole galaxy but also having nothing and being alone. Seeing him sitting on throne all alone in his grandfathers castle would be very interesting shot in the film. Now for the story telling component I don't really know how to make that work but dang I'd love to see that visual.

 

I would add the KOR for this scenario. Just imagine how Ren is sitting there while his knights are training. But Ren doesn't care about them anymore.
