SPECULATION Kylo Ren's New Mask and Saber in VIII?

I really loved the mask, so I hope so. Still, not having it might make him less of a Vader imitation. Perhaps he'll have some dark-side eyes and skin deformation to go with his gnarly scar. I'm actually looking forward to his evolution.

 

I think he will choose another mask, but I don't think he needs one anymore.

 

I think he'll wear it most of the time (and we'll have to speculate how it made it out of Starkiller Base). It's his thing... he wants to be like Vader. I think that this obsession of his will be even deeper when we next see him.

 

My opinion is he will wear it full time. I would love to see an ancient design, for his helmet that would possibly recognize Revan or Sith Acolyte. If not an ancient design how about a modern Vader look.

 

Don't think he could have saved his mask from the base, so we will see him with a new mask. Maybe even a partial face mask.

 

I think if he's spending time with Snoke completing his training, we won't see much of the helmet. It's clearly about intimidation towards his enemies.

 

You reckon? I would think more just because now he's got a scar on his face. I think he's gong to try and hide that as much as possible just because of his self confidence and intimidation, to show he's unbeatable in some way idk haha

 

Idk if anyone has mentioned this anywhere else, but Kylos cheek that Han strokes just before falling is the same cheek that Rey slashes during their duel. This serves as a physical reminder of his father's last emotion after Ben kills him. I think this will play a part in Ben's further "struggle against the light" as it will serve as a reminder. Thus, I think we will obviously see his face much more in Ep. VIII

 

If he still wants to be like Vader, then he will probably wear a mask.

Yes a scar has ben left on him but since we have seen his face he might have another one of those Rey scene were he may take it off again, the guilt of shaming the Solo family name caused him to wear it & hide his identity, he now faced his anger with consequences now there is no more hiding.

I hope most of the time just because I like the look of it. But honestly, who knows. Ironically, my favorite part was when he first took off his mask.

It could go either way, they did emphasize him dropping his heavy helmet on the bridge so its obvious he left it there.

But maybe it'll be like Luke's X-Wing between ESB and ROTJ... and we will see the helmet again. How he took time to get it back... would perplex me, but who really cares...

 

Yeah true, covering his true identity as a Solo is something he didn't want to show. Now he'll probably wear his indentity in pride knowing he's killed his dad

 

Yes & to keep Snoke from doubting him, Hux is doing a good job of testing his loyalty & gain influencing with the dark lord, Oh I enjoyed that movie, you know I still gets chills hearing him speak through the mask, Adam Driver was fantastic.

 

Yeah true, No matter what of snoke's impression physically they've done a great job with his voice. He just sounds like the meaning of evil. As for Kylo even his voice is fantastic through that mask sounds so menacing.

 

Thinking about it... Is this Kylo Ren in Episode VIII?
He was badly damaged at the end of Ep7 after all...


It's possible they just moved the character like they did Snoke (on Starkiller next to Rey) from that earlier artwork, from one point in the story to another.

 

Haha naa thats not concept for 8, he only got a cut going across his face and slices over bits and pieces of his body. Nothing cyborg worthy.
