It's weird but this movie always kind of reminds me of Big Trouble In Little China. And probably some other stuff but that one always comes to mind. Both of them cast the somewhat bumbling comic-relief sidekick as the star and the traditional heroic figure as almost a supporting character. Tron gets his name as the title and picture on the posters/covers but it's more focused on Flynn. Which works well in both movies as the heroic types are sort of the stereotypical 2D hero cutout with with the typical heroic motives (save the girl, save the world or whatever... and in Tron's case his motives are literally programmed into him) and the actual star of the movie is more like an everyman who gets caught up in their quest usually out of more selfish motives. Jack just wants his truck back and Flynn wants his programs back.

I'm still waiting for this movie and Legacy to come out on 4k Bluray. Regardless what anyone thinks about the sequel, the visuals would look amazing in 4k

Yeah I kind of like it. I liked the cast, whole atmosphere and feel of the movie both in terms of visuals and sound. I'm more of a guitar/bass/drums guy and not really into electronic music too much but it just so happens one of the few electronic albums I ever bought was Daft Punk's "Homework" back in the 90s, I didn't keep up with them and have only heard a couple of their songs since then but I thought their music went well. My only problem is I just hate the plot, I hate it when late sequels go back and ruin happy endings of classic films. I could deal with that if I just liked the story more but it's not really good enough for me personally to want to ruin Tron over. I do own it though and throw it on from time to time, as far as these types of old-school sequels/reboots it's a lot better than most and watchable it just bums me out so I don't do it often.

I watched this twice, it reminded me of the Lars homestead but instead of Luke being watched over by OB1, what if it was Leia? (MCU What if... coming next month can't wait btw) They have a cute droid like R2/Gonk droid.

Colonization to Mars is big right now it might not be so pleasant at first. This IFC Midnight film also reminded me of the wild Wild West. It might take them centuries to be like Earth, no justice, no government, you're just out there in the wild, surviving for dear life.

Slow paced film, I'm from an era where movies didn't have to have big explosions, and drawn out action scenes to be good. This might not be for everyone.

Also reminded me of one of my favorite sci-fi illustrators Michael Whelan.

Whelan paints oculus windows in some of his illustrations this reminded me of the film.

Luis Royo does Oeil-de-boeuf windows as well. :D

I guess I watched it twice because after Jerry killed Remmy's parents, He raised her as his daughter, then one day, he decides he wants to have sex with her. Jerry intrigued me with his art work at first, I thought there was more to him, but he turned out to be just another sick rogue on a lost path to doom. He made the same mistake with her mother. How could a woman fall in love with you after you murdered her husband?

    TIDES

The lead in this film out lives her colleague who commits suicide because he can't manage the environment. Just one of the things I disliked about this film. Its nothing like TFA but reminds me of the Rey and Finn dynamic

The Tomorrow War. Surprisingly good considering Chris Pratt is the star and I thought he could only play goofballs.

War Machine in End Game, ... so he's an idiot. HAHAA

For the record, Chris Pratt is very charismatic always steals the scenes that he is in.

So easy to watch... especially since at least one of them is on ITV3, ITV4 or Film4 pretty much every day :D

I didn't know his name but I recognized his style, he's done a lot of Isaac Asimov covers. The reprint covers for the Foundation Trilogy were amazing

This was one of the best, at least one of the best surprises.

What a suspense and so many great shots.
