    I watched with @RockyRoadHux the movie "Catch me!". It was fun! The movie was shot quite well and very stylish. The characters were likeable and the music was fitting as well.

    I think this movie is perfect for a movies night with friends.

    Saw two films recently. Rewatched Mad Max: Fury Road which is still fantastic. Also saw Paris When It Sizzles, a delightful pastiche of Hollywood films from the quickly ending Hayes code era with lovely performances by William Holden and Audrey Hepburn. A nice weekend watch.

    I watched the new Mission Impossible last night and liked it rather well. A lot of turns of surprise and the action was wild. If I ever find myself in a situation where I have to chase Tom Cruise I'm not even going to bother. There were a couple of time I thought he was going to go airborn. But yeah, I thought it was spytastic.

    i finally got around to watching Annihilation.

    what a wonderfully strange film. it actually gave me nightmares, though.

    that said, while it has some very dark themes, something about the ending of it was actually rather comforting.

    Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was just lovely. I've smiled for the whole duration of the film. It also had a lot of Lily James and that's always a positive in my eyes. Just a jolly good time. :)
