This is a good idea. I'll pick it up in the library.
So last one I watched was Source Code. Wasn't that bad. After that I started with Iron Man, hope to finish it today.
Is there any particular order for watching MCU movies?

I feel like I need to revisit this film. I enjoyed it but was scratching my head the entire film and now that the shock of everything won't be there I feel like I can watch it and try to better understand everything going on and look for little details.

If it's on I watch it. Everytime. Not that it is necessarily one of my favourite movies, but it's just a really good time waster.

suspiciously sounds like you're saying it's a guilty pleasure?

it's ok to admit it.. i love 'The Proposal' with Reynolds & Bullock (i reckon my recent Velvet & Clown fear admissions put my rep so low that it no longer matters :D)

Yes, I'd say it's definitely a guilty pleasure, I've tried "Just go with it" - which also is set in Hawaii, but it was just not the same... Must be something else...

Haha, I remember that post of yours! The Proposal is a good movie- it has Deadpool AND Betty White XD

Ah man, I forgot about that movie. I haven't seen that since back in the late 80s/early 90s when it used to come on HBO all the time. I should check it out again, all I remember is the ending and the part where he pretends to be afraid to fly.

Finally got to MI: Fallout... it's solid and what you've come to expect from the series after recent entries, but personally, I don't quite get what everyone is raving about it being the best so far?!

    Unsolicited Lazarus Score: 8/10

(Equally unrequested 'order of preference': Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, Fallout, MI:3, MI & MI:2)

I cracked up at that part.

I never saw it before and I was home alone, which means I can watch whatever I want. The Mrs., for whatever reason as numbers and watching all your stuff, so I took it as an opportunity to watch something I wanted to and I wanted to watch something without CGI or big fake explosions.

This is my review of Mission: Impossible - Fallout:

Good job, Hollywood. This is one of few summers when I can say that I've enjoyed all of big releases that I've gone to see.

Watched a movie called Upgrade. I liked it up until the ending. It's one of those movies that throws on a twist ending that completely undermines and contradicts everything that came before it, turning the entire thing into a nonsensical mess. Super-lazy writing of a twist. It's like when Bane says "I was born in the darkness" in TDKR so you think he's the kid who was born in the prison. Then you find out he wasn't the kid. So you're like "Then why did you say you were born in the darkness if it wasn't you?" and it was just Nolan straight-up lying just to misdirect you. So the twist isn't really earned, it's just the result of a set up that shouldn't exist. That was one line, this was the entire movie. So ended up not really caring for Upgrade.

Sometimes I just have a solid reaction to certain films by way of the strength of the metaphor I'm seeing. In this case, when the movie went off I was like; huh, whoever wrote that must really be afraid of the concept of marriage.

In no particular order, It in the two Apes sequels; both of which are absolutely fantastic. The best science-fiction series in this era.

I just caught the Netflix original, "How It Ends"

I thought it was good for another apocalyptic-thriller. The way society starts to break down seems fairly realistic. There's a lot of "Don't do that you idiot" moments but I was entertained throughout.

First Reformed: I liked the production values and direction more than I did the actual movie. If that makes sense.
