I think my favorites are: Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, The Secret World of Ariety and Porco Rosso.

I love the first 3, saw the third in the theater (and the first when it was re-released back in the mid 00's), read Alan Dean Foster's novelization of each, own the box set that includes Resurrection... but to this day I've never seen it.

Don't ask me how but I found myself watching this...

If you had HBO in the late 80s and early 90s you've seen it, probably between airings of Club Paradise and Jaws: The Revenge. I watched it out of nostalgia (I didn't particularly like it back then but it came on SO often that it brought back memories) and to see how well it held up It doesn't really, it's pretty generic and the comedy is lacking but it has a few moments and the two leads are at least a likable pair.

I know that I love the first Alien movie. Pure Sci-fi with psychological terror. Never liked too much of Cameron's Aliens.
Alien 3 and Alien Ressurection I have wachted so many years ago that I have to rewatch them to tell you if I do like or not.

For Alien3, make sure to watch the "Assembly Cut" available on certain releases. The theatrical version was butchered stupid and make no sense, but the Assembly Cut is, while not an actual Fincher director's cut, a really good movie

...and it's awesome! I've read the book and it's a very good and faithful adaptation.

Watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World last night. I thought it was decent but not as funny as I hoped it would be.

It was worth it to see mean Captain America skateboard though!

Fun fact, I once professionaly subtitled that film (among others) but the quality of the picture was so low (to facilitate easy internet transfer and, I assume, to prevent people from leaking the film) that I have no idea what it is actually about! Lolz.

    I'm reading it :D

I collect movie novelizations, the weirder the better, and while I do read better books (I'm also currently reading the Dune series) I like to pepper weird stuff like that in. I saw this with some friends in the theater on my 15th birthday and I usually watch it every year on my birthday (which I did this past Saturday) and after that I decided to finally pull this off the shelf and knock it out. It's as strange as I expected but far from the weirdest one of these things I've read. I've also read the novels that were the source material for the first two movies so now I will be able to say I've read the original Die Hard trilogy, which should come in handy if I ever have to enter an insanity plea.

I saw this and Twister at the cinemas back in the 90's. I was like 12 or 13 years old. I remember that I loved Twister.but didn't enjoyed too much Air Force One. I remember of an horrible CGI at the end of AF1. Good times.going to the movies.with my father. Wednesday's were half price!
