    Felicity Jones is a rebel soldier and the film is said to be in a similar tone to Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan.

    I think it makes sense for at least this Anthology film to have a similar tone to a pre-existing film. Obviously, A New Hope. I loved the "budding-Rebellion-covertly-operating-with-very-little-hope" tone, and I think this film will definitely emphasize that tone. This is definitiely leading up to the opening crawl of "Star Wars". I think this movie will be a great companion piece to ANH. I'd enjoy hearing some early pieces of the Rebel themes (heard during the trench run, etc.) by Mr. Desplat.

    Man, I'm ready for fan divisions about damned near everything that's coming down the pike. There are already fans who go into reflexive conniptions at the very mention of the phrase "practical effects," fer cryin' out loud. There will be fans who abhor whatever Rogue One ends up being, whatever The Force Awakens ends up being, and you name it. And there will be just as many fans who absolutely dig the new films and will be just as vocal about it.

    We've seen it for years with the SW fanbase, and we'll see it for the rest of our lives. "Nothin' left to do but smile, smile, smile." ;)

    I have some ideas, but I'm not sure:

    Any other ideas?

    Look at Gareth Edwards' previous movies... All disaster flix! I bet Rogue One is going to be a nail biter.

    I think we will start hearing something about rogue one in the next few months to distract from the filming of Episode VIII, probably wrong though. Hoping for some sort of teaser soon since its a year out.
