SPOILER Legacy - Season 7?

I would personally love to see more of TCW show up on Netflix, however I sadly think it is unlikely . Regardless, at least with the Clone Wars Legacy project we can still get closure to some of the things they weren't able to tie up in the main series.

As for those who are worried about Rebels, I say just give it a chance, the team working on it has a stellar track record with other animated shows, particularly in regards to excellent stories and character development. Filoni who obviously worked on The Clone Wars as well as Avatar The Last Airbender, and Weisman has a great track record as well with shows like Spectacular Spider Man and Young Justice(a personal favorite of mine). Another bonus of having Filoni on the show is that they can use Rebels to connect to TCW and give some of those characters closure on Rebels.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the first season of Rebels was shorter than that of TCW. The first season of TCW consisted of the theatrical movie and 22 episodes, whereas Rebels only had the movie and 13 episodes, plus a few shorts. My biggest complaint about the first season of Rebels is that we didn't get enough character development for the crew of the Ghost, but that can partially be blamed on the abbreviated first season. My second biggest complaint was that Lothal did get old after a while, but signs point to that being remedied in the second season.

Another thing to consider is that while TCW became a favorite of mine, that was only after the show had time to find its footing. The movie and first season in particular are rather weak in my opinion(seeing the film in theaters was a particular letdown for me at the time). As a matter of fact I gave up on the show for a while, but once I gave it a chance again, I found it to be a much better and even excellent show in later seasons, even making me like characters I disliked before(I still don't particularly care for the first season or the film though). As for Rebels, I have the same expectations for this goaround as well .

 

I think season 6 should be the finale, I doubt there is anything else they could make episodes.

 

A full season 6 would'a been nice

 

What season would the Darth Maul comics have been? That was what, 4 episodes? The current Dark Disciple book ( which I got today ) is 8 episodes that take place chronologically before and after the Maul series. So there's 12 episodes there they could've had for a season which is not a full season but they'd have other episodes too.

 

Yep that would be something to focus on, lets see what happens during the rebel series.

I like the animation of TVW so much better but he animation of the light sabers in REBELS looks way make fluid to my eyes .
