The only one of those I've actually read so far is Outbound Flight (though I recently obtained Shadows of Mindor). It's a great book but is a prequel to the Thrawn trilogy and Survivor's Quest and I suspect you will get more out of it if you will read those first.

Generally as a Legends jumping off point the traditional answer is the Thrawn trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command) which kicked off most of the EU and laid a foundation for it. They also happen to be some of the best books, and due to the nature of their development you don't have to read anything else to get into it.

    Hi Jorgz.

Most of the books you listed are not directly linked. Although they are mostly in the pre movie era. So I want to ask: Which era in the SW timeline are you most interested in? Stuff before the movies, or stuff happening after Return of the Jedi?
Also, if possible, I recommend reading survivor's quest before Outbound Flight. Most of the mystery in Survivor's Quest would be gone if you read Outbound Flight first.
