    Looks like Fox will be coming out with a new X-Men TV series in 2016.
    Will they be setting it in the XCU or will it be stand-alone?

    I'm hoping they start in present day with Charles Xavier starting the school with only Scott Summers (Cyclops), Jean Grey (Marvel Girl/Phoenix), Hank McCoy(Beast), Bobby Drake (Ice Man), and Warren Worthington III (Angel) as his students and growing from there.

    If this takes place, it really messes up the chance of X-Men ever joining the MCU. But hey, if it's good then I don't really care.

    X-men has always been better suited to TV than movie. The comic is a soap opera and I mean that in the best and most appreciative way. It’s about character building and depth and long story arcs more than big villains and fight scenes. Perhaps they’ll finally nail the X-men feel when it’s on TV.
