    That does sound great!

Though I like the idea of having a set with all the different hilts, a Lightsaber hilt set with 10,000 piece? And Lego is quite fragile, how is one supposed to play with those?

I wasn't suggesting lightsaber hilts would be the announcement. It's almost certainly going to be the Star Destroyer. Lego lightsaber hilts are just something I would like.

    "It belongs in a museum!"

Not a functioning lightsaber with a blade or anything. Just the different hilts and maybe a display stand. They could even open to show the kyber crystal. They wouldn't have to cost a truckload either.

Sound cool but Lego is for kids, isn't it?

But LEGO is a toy and not for exhibition. Kids want to play with LEGO.

And Star Wars is for 12 year olds?

Kids like to build and display things too, at least I did, like models and such.

True, they like to build and display what they have build... Anyways to my mind if one want to collect good Lightsabers, these are way more suited for adults:

I wonder how many pieces Snoke's ship would be? Or the Dreadnought?

But a kid at heart still wants to PLAY with Lego toys and not just look at them. That's the point...

You can find lots of them that Lego fans have made themselves. There's just not any official sets from Lego yet. I think they're pretty cool. Building a Lego set is playing with it. Opening up the chamber and checking out the kyber crystal is playing with it. People of all ages like Lego. I met an old retired couple who had their entire place lined with all sorts of Lego sets. Their house was like a Lego museum. It was their hobby. So the idea is one others have had as well, and Lego is for anyone and everyone, just as Star Wars is. I don't care if Lucas says it's for 12 year olds or what age they put on the side of the box.

This set is an immaculate piece of art. Wish it came with some more figures, but that’s a small gripe. I’ll get it in a couple years, but I’ll wait to get the UCS Falcon first.

Also here’s a brick built lightsaber that I saw at a convention earlier this year:

I like how the nameplate specifically identifies it as The Devastator, and not just a generic Star Destroyer.

Would be nice if it would have a small Tantive IV inside.
