    I love this thread!

I can image sitting on the floor isn't ideal... However the volume of pieces that you require for MF makes it very difficult keep everything in easy reach?

you build these things in stages, so i think it might be easy enough to work at it on my desk (i have a large double secretary).
i might try to transfer it tomorrow. i think it will work?
at least until the ship gets too big. : o p

Nah, he just spilt his jelly donut. ;) Unfortunetly, I had to take this diorama apart to make space for my Crait MOC and use the (coarse, rough, and irritating) sand baseplates for a beach on my Lego city street. I still have the sets put together, just not all together in one spot. Looking back on this one, I'm not satisfied with it anymore. My Crait diorama will be MUCH better than this one. In fact, I'm repurposing quite a few of my Rebel soldiers as Resistance soldiers on Crait!

Haha! When I was repeatedly emptying my wallet when the Lego Ninjago Movie sets came out, I did the same thing: I just binge watched my favorite episodes from The Clone Wars. I'd definetly do the building on a desk though, less chance of losing pieces or getting your Falcon stepped on!

I play LEGO SW quite often with my kids. We use the smaller brother of your set of course.
My son has made some little stop motion videos alteady.
I love to "mess things up" when have our little role plays. Most of the time I play Han and I make my son crazy with sudden "story twists" and Han being unpredictable in his behaviour all the time.
U see; SW LEGO is not useless. It can be fun for role plays. :D

Did you never build Lego as a kid? You WANT to sit on the floor while building a set. Hahaha!

Lego stop motion videos: the beginning of many filmmakers. ;D

Yep. He has started a much more ambitious film project this summer. Yesterday I bought him an extension to adobe after effects and in the evening he showed me his first little test sequence with us in fuerteventura being attacked by a Tie fighter.
Perhaps we can pack in the falcon in another one :D

oooo i can't wait to see this! if i ever built a MOC i'd probably have a hard time ever taking it apart again!
but i'm not that creative. i can barely follow the instructions let alone come up with ideas on my own!
i am totally envious of that ability and focus! : D

i want to see this too! sounds like so much fun!

Three flights of stairs? K that's a big gd box which confirms it. Your definitely force sensitive. Great set!!! Can't wait to see it when it's assembled! "Iiiiii see it". A gazillion Lego pieces levitating and forming bigger Lego pieces right there in your livingroom.

alas, i wish i had the force! this is looking very daunting!

i did move to my desk, after rearranging my furniture a bit.
i think the ship will outgrow it pretty quick.
this is definitely going to be interesting.

This thread is GOLD!!! I am LOLing at everything....come on folks I am trying to sip my coffee but it is difficult trying not to have it come out my nose!!

@FN-3263827 you are doing great....at our house we have a large piece of white foam core we put on our kitchen table that we use as a base to pour each bag of pieces on...easier to see the color of pieces against the white.

    it's just some random program.
right now there's a buncha people on some white planet fighting with space ships or something. i dunno.

    hahahahaha ~ nose caf!
