I foresee a bright future for this thread - it's like a forum watercooler; besides all this talk of food suits me just fine. I might even opt to make some manwiches at this point!

It's actually NOT whatever Google is telling you (in my case, at least). When I say manwich, it usually involves me slapping a whole bunch of stuff together into a sandwich; heating it up in a toaster; spicing it up with spices and serving it with either milk or scotch, depending on my mood.

Basically, the most important part would be butter. You simply CANNOT give up on the butter!

• You start by taking a slice of bread (preferably thin), applying a layer of butter across the surface (remember, you CANNOT give up on the butter!).
• Next comes the chilly sauce (you're free to use whatever dosage you want, I suggest a smaller dose - it's meant to complement the taste, not dominate it).
• Then come the spices: I personally use granulated garlic as my main spice with a dash of a standard gyros spice mix. The garlic is pure magic for the final taste.
• Apply a thinly-cut layer of sirloin (pork); follow it up with a layer of gouda; then end it with a layer of tea sausage.
  
• Take the other slice of bread, apply a layer of butter (because you cannot give up on the butter!) and the chilly sauce too.
• You can also place the spices on this side as well if you want it extra spicy. Also, if you have OCD, I guess.
• Place the slice on top to close the manwich off and put it into your toaster. If all goes well, the cheese won't melt out and the butter won't make a mess.

Finally, open your toaster, take the manwich and enjoy the meal worthy of an omnipotent Sith Emperor (or Empress).

Of course, you're free to mix and match all sorts of different layers and condiments, but whatever you do: you CANNOT give up on the butter!

Wow, this sounds like a work of food art!! How do you keep the butter and sauce from dripping into the innards of the toaster? Or do you have one of those wonderful panini presses?

Also, I love butter. Almost as much as I love bacon.

the circle is now complete. when i left it was but a conversation about mother-pulverizing cheesecake, now it is a masterpiece.

Panini presses, of course! I shudder at the thought of the horrendous mess a regular toaster would make...

I, uh, tend to write on occasion, yeah. I'm not a professional writer, though. It's mostly a side hobby of mine whenever I feel the need to bring deeper context to the maps I make.

I go to the gym and come back to so many more posts lol...I'm so sore I wish I was in bed drinking some wine, watching some star wars with my baby kitten, and eating that Bacon Chewie and Egg TIE Fighters as a post-workout.

Ahh I don't like pork except when it's bacon...I prefer Top Sirloin Grass-Fed Beef and/or Filet Mignon.

sorry i'm so picky, but it's the caffeine i'm not allowed to have. herbal would be nice if you have it.

Yes please!!!! As for tea, got some chamomile here. My daughter wears a Chewbacca ball cap she wears all the time, and a stuffed Chewie she takes everywhere. She wants to marry him.

 

Damn, chamomile would just go grand with this. Funny thing is: I'm not lazy enough to make my manwiches, but I'm too lazy to make the tea right now. Milk it is, then.

I could down like 7 of those right now...I just had whole-grain/whole wheat pasta with green onions, cheese, mushrooms, and chicken and I'm STILL hungry .
