L3 is basically part of the Falcon now. I've always thought of the Falcon as a character. How can we look at this? How should we look at this. L3 apparently built herself in some fashion and we know that at least her superior navigational skills were part of that. Could she have still been somewhat alive or her spirit in part still exist there? I know, trying not to spoil The Last Shot, that there is an existing remnant of L3 in part elsewhere as well. Does anyone have thoughts?

L3 made me look at C-3PO's comment that the Millennium Falcon "has the most peculiar dialect" differently. Solo (the movie) adds some depth to that line and helps explain why the Falcon itself kind of has a little personality to it. I need to see the movie more but I think in my own internal canon, it would make sense that over the years, L3 went from being in charge of navigation to taking over a lot of shipboard operations.

Is she sort of "dead" as well? Droid rights, that would be bad to be stuck on Jakku for years. In that wa y, I'd like to think not, but becoming the ship in some way, and belonging to Han who seems to have a problem with droids unless it suits him. Just gets my brain churning.

I don't think any of L3's consciousness is actually in the Falcon. I see it more as being an organ donor.

It was a brilliant idea. What Lando says about the falcon in the original movies now is deeper meaning. Loved it.

She was a droid to remember for me. I can tell Anthony Daniels may want Threepio to act the same in the ST finale.

Maybe L3 & The Falcon' computer merged to create a new life form. Like Decker, ilia & V'Ger from Star Trek 1?

agree that L3 is dead. she gave up her life they parted her out to boost the Falcon.
that doesn't necessarily mean L3's attitude/personality isn't part of the Falcon too now, but her consciousness, her memories, and her "life" are gone.

L3 is part of the Falcon's nav computer, not true "AI".

I liked L3 fine, but absolutely hated the "equal rights" line.

Ok according to canon L3 had a R3 unit droid brain. One of the MF's "computers" is a R3 droid brain.

    Soooooo, it we add 1 + 1......

It would make sense for L3 to have an R3 brain, as the R3 brain, an Intellex V, was an improved and more expensive version of the Intellex IV model found inside the older model R2 series astromech droid. The Intellex V brain with its bigger capacity, could store more hyperspace jump coordinates than the Intellex IV could.

C-3PO once said in TESB during ithe Falcon's stay inside an asteroid cave (and monsters belly), that the Millennium Falcon's computer "had a most peculiar dialect".

Luckliy C-3PO, who was fluent in six million forms of communcation, could also understand SJWese.

I actually liked the idea that some of L3's personality was transferred into the Falcon (even though I don't like the character itself). I don't think L3 herself was completely transferred, but, what Star Wars has shown, is that the longer a droid goes without a memory wipe, they do start to develop personalities. So I do think the intention of the scene with L3 and the Falcon was to show that her incorporation into the Falcon did give the Falcon some personality.

Why all the "shes ded jim" negativity? Lando sed it himself that L3 is with the MF.

I don't see how anyone can hate L3's comical equal rights protests and exaggerated "woke"ness any more than 3PO's curious indignation, stuffiness and constant comical whingeing about his working conditions and the amount of respect he or other droids receive etc.

L3-37 is one of the things that I would most definitely change about Solo. She is so annoying. Her voice just grates on me.
