So apparently we're getting ten new Star Wars shows?

Wow. It feels like both this Christmas and next year's Christmas came early.

A lot of content which is cool. Wish they had been a bit more ambitious though ist mainly just stories that fill the gaps between the saga films which is a bit disappointing. But still, lots of star wars can't complain.

But Suppose we have to look at it all with a caveat its Lucasfilm, you can expect most of these projects to have above-average development issues.

 

Just realized every new show and movie has its news thread except Visions.

It's already the most underrated of all the new projects and the most unnoticed.
But for me it has the potential to be one of the most original and brilliant.

As I said some time ago in another thread, a show set in SW universe with the same style as "Love, Death & Robots" would be a great chance to see the OT characters together again in a full realistic CG animation set in OT events (imagine the possibilities with the old OT force philosophy in there, the adventures of the characters we know, missions like the battle of Taanab...). This, combinded with cool classic and colorful anime animation shorts the show could be so so so good.

I really can't wait to see what they have for us.

I remember being so excited with the announcements of ST, RO and Solo.
Curious with the next 2 films I can't even feel a tiny portion of it.
One reason is, ok, now they can explore the galaxy, the force, the Jedi and they give us "another Rogue" and maybe a comic approaching? Am very confused.

Yeah, maybe Acolyte will give some of this and The High republic literary project (but who will read all of it, seriously?). But we are talking about big Star Wars movies here!! The big cinematic experience! I don't think the 2 news movies have this sensation yet.

Just checking (since I'm an ignoranus). So, half-a-year after the Investors' Day event we still have no details on the various censored reels and such? Nothing has leaked about that? There were one for Lando and one of Obi-Wan, if I'm not mistaken... (These were hidden to the general audience during the show, by a pause screen with some quiz questions). I expected bad phone-vids of these to hit the internet within a week after the actual event, but NOTHING so far?

Edit: Ok, I found a written description of the Obi-Wan Kenobi presentation. Assuming it is legit:

Kenobi will definitely go off-world, to a water planet nonetheless.

Any other insider scoops from the event? From the Lando presentation, for instance?

Heck they showed a blocked promo clip for Lando but we don't evne know whether it is a live-action or animated project! (I'm leaning towards animated since Lando was mentioned right after the manga project and no actors have been announced)
