    I hope this contains the shooting script, like the Art Of... books for AOTC and ROTS.

    Man, didn't those come out weeks before the movie did? I know people are miffed about all this stuff coming out on the same day the film does, but what happened then just sounded absurd!

    Art of Episode II (with full screenplay) was released in 30 April 2002, about 2 weeks before release. Art of Episode III released 1 Nov 2005, months after the film... however, the standalone Illustrated Screenplay, was released 2 April 2005, about 6 weeks before the film.

    Absurd indeed.

    They did it that way so you could read what was written in the script and hear how the lines could be delivered in your head, then get to the theater and realize you were the only one who cared to give the lines the right inflection and gravitas.

    I was just reading some of the AOTC screenplay with my brother a few weeks back... that stuff was awful. Good thing a lot of it got cut.
    GL just shouldn't write dialogue.
