that's not off-topic! I meant that if the op's theory is correct- that Luke and Leia are Obi Wan's children- it would be in Obi Wan's interest to hide the evidence.....and kill padmé. Padmé did die...did she? And wasn't her death extremely mysterious? Who dies of a broken heart? Only Lucas can make that up! No, I'm sure, Kenobi killed Padmé. The things Cluedo can teach you!

A more realistic possibility is that she's Palpatine in disguise.

Recall he does have the power to change his appearance.

This theory would also explains why she's so knowledgable.

And has super Force powers that seemingly come out of nowhere.

Even darth plagueis and snoke is simply misdirection.

 

In my humble opinion Kenobi is the most boring main character BTW, thanks to the PT.


The PT made Obi-Wan more interesting in my opinion.

 

UH, no way. Luke Skywalker is a skywalker. I like Rey being a Knobi, that does not mean she has to be kin through blood to Luke.

 

I have a 'different' theory....

PADMÉ'S APARTMENT, CORUSCANT.

Senator Padmé Amidala of the Naboo System gazes out of her official apartment residence window impatiently for signs of Anakin's return home. Padmé then begins pacing up and down the room and has a look of longing frustrated tension on her face. Time passes by slowly. Eventually, in a huff, she flops down on the sofa next to Jar Jar.

Padmé (deep sigh)
Jar Jar: "Senator Padmé. Yousa notta feeling happy like?."
Padme:"No...."

Jar Jar feels sympathetic and has an idea which he hopes will make Padmé laugh.

Jar Jar: "Meesa knows some fun tricks. Watchen diss!"

Padmé rolls her eyes at first but decides to watch her gungan friend anyway. Jar Jar suddenly flicks out his long tongue and with it snatches an apple from a fruit bowl on the coffee table several feet away. Padmé's eyes widen with surprised shock and amazement. She pauses, looks deep into Jar Jars eyes in thought then begins to grin mischievously.

Padme: "Very good, Jar Jar. (shifts closer). So, do you know any other 'tricks' you can show me? (!)"
Jar Jar (gulps)

If Luke goes dark....you can pretty much say that the First Order will now be in power...but it is highly unlikely.

I almost died of a broken heart reading this, almost gave up the will to live

 

Time is always tricky to track in the Star Wars universe, but with a pregnancy we can have better guesses. Anakin had been gone for at least some time between impregnating Padme and returning with the rescued Chancellor and learning of his wife's condition. Even if there was somehow a miscarriage, and then she was re-impregnated by Kenobi, I think Anakin would have realized that's not necessarily his kid- or, at least not the child that Padme originally spoke of.

Plus, if Luke and Leia are Obi Wan's, I think he'd have preferred to directly raise them both, as there wouldn't be some hesitation in them being Anakin's offspring.
