I didn't like the movie but I have no problem with Luke milking sloth Anakin.

This is nature and the jedi way. Nothing to be shocked there, that's where the milk is coming. A cow or sloth Anakin is not a problem.

It should be of no shock that what appear to be petulant children are having issues with this scene and probably the movie.
Can't get past this without making ridiculously childish jokes.
There's a way to have fun with it but resorting to calling it jerking off an animal or implying it's sexual is just so beyond childish.

First of all....it was green milk. Not blue.

And that wasn't a training scene. He was trying to get her to leave so we smiled at her with green milk dripping from his mouth, which was funny, but the scene was still bizarre.

And yet not really that bizarre in the context of bizarre things in Star Wars.

As my grandparents had a dairy farm, I don't really find it weird at all. Where do think milk comes from? I would think people would be like " Holy Cow, so that is where green milk comes from" cuz it was green. Luke was living on an island had to live off the land. It was showing Luke's state of mind and where is was at this point.

I guess to not offend anyone, he could have ordered a replicator from the Enterprise to have on the island.

The scene was strange and maybe bizarre but I loved it. So cool to see Luke interacting with the nature around him.

The fish scene was also great. Made me think of this:

Doing this and giving Rey that look was Luke's way of showing her that he had fallen a long way and didn't care. Someone in our lives might do the same thing with Bud bottles or a pile of pizza boxes. (Fairly tame compared to what people get up to in Dune...)

I wasn’t offended by the scene in any way but I did think the scene was totally pointless and pretty dumb. In ANH you see the blue milk and Aunt Beru putting some green leafy stuff in a blender-thing - both subtlety show the normal, boring life on the planet. But no one needed to see where she got it or her trip to the local grocery store. In TLJ we see Luke go fishing - fine, we get it, he’s a self sufficient hunter/gatherer now. One of the scenes or the other would have been sufficient. Luke with the crazed look after drinking the milk was just strange and added nothing to the story imo. Could have easily been left on the cutting room floor.

If Rian Johnson didn't put that in there, some nerd would be complaining and asking "what does Luke drink if he's surrounded by sea water?"

Showing Luke's daily routine was part of the audiences insight into how Luke lived all of these years. It helps you understand how disconnected and traumatized he is.

Clouded by the Dark Side, the Star Wars fandom is. Enraged by shock, the fanbois have become. Fear, hate, anger, tools of the Dark Side are these. You must unlearn, what you have learned. Failure, yes failure most of all, the greatest teacher is. Remember my words, pass on what you have learned.

There were leaks that the creature was supposed to be Sloth Anakin, I'm joking because it was the most terrible fan fiction who comes from ep VIII :)

    Hey!
Just because Star Wars fans became okay with pseudo incest for 30 years because "they didn't know" (even though they basically both say they always knew), it doesn't mean we should have to accept gross things like teats and green milk!

That scene, was one perfectly befitting something happening in the Star Wars universe. It's just showing how he survives off the island. In part.

Maybe we could have had more actual training, I'm not sure I disagree with that part

Well, I asked myself from a storytelling perspective, and I've gotta say... Although the scene could be cut, it does have some purpose. It's part of the sequence showing his daily routine. If you cut this scene you might as well cut out the scene where he goes fishing. It also backs up Rey's statement that his daily routine isn't that eventful later in the movie.
Honestly, I think many people are completely over reacting to this scene anyways (Which wasn't even that long to begin with). Everyone's acting as if this scene majorly effects the outcome of the plot (as if it's the most ridiculous thing in SW). We could always go back to Jar Jar stepping in poop, or even Anakin riding weird cow creature on Naboo. IT REALLY ISN'T A BIG DEAL.

Perhaps some people preferred a force ghost of Aunt Beru giving Luke a nice glass of bluemilk. I don't. I liked to see how Luke survives in Achc-to. I recall to everyone that you have seen the annus of a space camel fart on Jar Jar's face.

And BTW the creature in the island is not CG.
